I was challenged for a duel, but could not select my opponent for attacking.

When I finally managed to select him, I already was nearly out of HP.

Duels work the same as any battle. You should be able to target with Tab if they're in your field of view, or just click on them before the duel starts.

I tried to alt+tab, but could not select my opponent.

He was a thief BTW, with that hiding skill. This affects something maybe?

Also, is there no need to hold Ctrl to select players?

It's not alt+tab, just the Tab key will cycle through "available targets" in your line of sight. If you prefer to use the mouse, you can click them as well (no need to hold ctrl) or right click to use an auto-attack.

If he was on stealth and you couldn't see him, then you obviously can't target him unless you're in the same party (party members can see through stealth)

hello everyone

I'm not very experienced in this game.

Played for about 2 weeks, mostly just auto while I do other things.

Now that I really tried to PvP, and I realize it's pretty terrible.

The combat itself is fitting for the PvP system. But there are some things that can be quite annoying.

  1. The lag, there are a lot of times when I would be way off the hitbox of an enemy attack and I would get hit. Resulting in a half hp combo. I have green connection at all times, yet this happens more often that I would like.

  2. The skill description and status effects is hard to understand. I think it's great they change the skills for PvP, but I would love a better explanation of it. A lot more skills seem to stun in PvP, yet it's not stated in the skill itself. (at least for assassin, the only class I've played). I often have to guess what's happening.

  3. The combos are really satisfying. It feels pretty good to pull off a continuous combo that you can do some pretty heavy damage on. It opens up some possibilities to experiment with builds. Although that usually leaves duels with a loooot of running around waiting for cool downs, but I don't mind that.

  4. The lag again. This is a pretty big deal breaker for me, I'm not sure if I should do something with my network to maintain a lower latency connection, but it's very confusing and demoralizing to do what I'm pretty sure would be a counter, only to have it happen half a second later when you already got juggled like a bowling pin. 9apps apk cartoon hd

So overall, if not for the huge latency, PvP would be pretty fun.

I want to know what the community here as a whole feels about the PvP system. If I'm in the minority of people with such latency issues, or if this is a well known problem and people just live with it.

thanks and regards
