Hello everybody!

 

I'm a Stalker currently on level 74, but I'm worried about my future build. I'm following a Bow path, with intention of playing only on PvM (leveling, instances and bosses). For this, I planned something like high DEX and AGI and moderate INT and VIT, to use Severe Rainstorm + Fire Wall and Triangle Shot. However, I read somewhere that this kind of build is obsolete after 120+, due to monsters' higher HP.

 

My current state is +9 Vana Helm, +9 Rudra Bow w/ EA5/EA5, Chick Hat (untradeable) and 90b. Reading some guides, I have some doubts:

 

1) Is it true that this build is obsolete? Which one suit my attempt to PvMing better?

2) If ASS, what are some gears that I may need? From budget to end-game? It level 1v1 or mobbing?

3) I read a guide about using Thieves' Guide Vol. 1 to MVPing, is a build that worth it?

4) After reading that guide, I'm very willing to build something like a hybrid of Severe Rainstorm, Triangle Shot, and ASPD/Crit using Thieves Guide. Is that possible?

1. Severe Rainstorm / Triangle Shoot / Agi Crit / Double Strafe spammer / Feint Bomb is the best end game build for SC. I prefer it than ASS. Because we dont have gear as good as kRO/jRO here for ASS. Believe me using Lunar Combo even not good enough for end game to do PVM. Meanwhile Bow build more versatile to go almost everywhere.

2.ASS need Lunar Rainbow Set + Valki Knife. Going with party on TI for faster leveling. Yea it's always 1v1 to proc your AoE.

3. It's worth it. Very useful to use.

4. That's totally possible.
For main gear Bow SC:
Old Shadow Handicraft, this is your main damager for TS.
Mid and low set: Gambler set, Imperial Set, Mob Set. Depend on your situation. Just adjust by yourself.
Weapon: Crimson Bow, Vigilante Bow. Card: True Trentini, Abysmal Knight, Sidewinder+Golem/Valkyrie Rangdris (Power Thrust and Frenzy from Thieve's Guide will break our weapon).
FAW Expert Archer.
Armor:
EDA for Default, for leeching. Severe Rainstorm need lot of SP. Also combo with your Temporal Dex Hawkeye will drain HP and SP so much.
FDA for Boss.
Boots: Dex EA HE. When HE Proc, cast Feint Bomb. Amazing Damage.
Acc: Emerald Ring (SR+DS+100 atk), Temporal Ring, PDM.

with 90b you can play whatever you like man

i would rather stick with SR build.

it's the best u can go up until 175, and most likely you will be able to solo NCT at 151-175.

 

if u have enough zeny and want to be a magic type, just go with +10-14 valk knife with 4 true KK cards

magician gloves+celine set combo+any other eqs to pump up your matk+decrease your cast time.

 

u will love it.

 

AutoShadowSpell sucks....i tried it..

Now im using SR build.

I can 1 shot some mvps with SR
