I tried to submit a ticket but the warpportal support site has been down for a while now.

 

The Old Parasol Enchant for MATK 2 is supposed to give additional MATK+2%; however, it does not.

 

I have tested the magic damage between Old Parasol ASPD4 and Old Parasol MATK2 and there was no difference. My character has 254 base MATK +199 additional MATK.

 

Switching between the Old Parasol ASPD4 and the Old Parasol MATK2 makes no difference in MATK.

 

At first I thought it might be a glitch like the byorgue card effect; however when I tested the damage swapping between the two old parasols there was no difference.

 

Please help, I think I may be going crazy trying to compare the two.

Only looking at status window or actually tested the dmg?

It probably did take effect, MATK has a pretty big variance range and 2% is such a small amount, even more so if you have other sources.

Assuming no over-upgrade, would recognized spell be enough to cancel out the variance to see the 2% matk?

 

It's the same enchant as others, so my guess is any instance of that enchant can be used to test.

Update: I now have 1050+ MATK, 2% should give me 21 MATK... but still does less than same old parasol ASPD 2. I think MATK2 might be deducting MATK instead of increasing it.

Regardless, I give up testing this anymore as I made myself an Old Parasol Spell 6 (took over 50 old parasols) which actually works and shows up on character screen.

Also in case anyone was wondering +10 Old Parasol (clean / no enchants) > +10 Valkyrie Dagger [4] even for thief class.

%MATK(or any percentage modifier) does not appear in your Alt+Q, there's nothing wrong there.

The "less damage" is just the innability to actually notice such a small increment, probably diluted from other sources as well,as well as natural damage variance.
