Thara frog damage reduction doesn't seem right , am i missing something?:

Looks like with shield you are reducing an extra 200 dmg or so.

 

Raw dmg for kobold archer is around 750-800. 30% of that is 225-240.

 

Your def reduces the raw damage by some percentage, guessing 15% or so based on your results, reduces the resulting reduction from Thara too.

 

The numbers seem skewed because you're wearing survivor's set (has demi-human reduction bonuses) and you have soft def reducing the final number (vit).

 

It looks fine to me.

i guess i didnt realized how much demi-human reduction surv set gives you O.o

you are going from 0 reductions to 30%.
You have 30% from survivor set already.

Going from 30 to 60% reduction is effectively reducing the damage taken by 43%~ of the previous amount.

More than that, one setup has a shield while the other has nothing, the raw Def difference will add up to this.

Soft def then is a flat number that reduces the damage after the %s are applied.
If you have 0 reduc and 100 soft def, a 1000 hit will hit you for 900. But if you stack enough for 75% reduction, that 1000 becomes 250, wich then goes down to 150.
