What should i put points into first? I'm still 99 so i can reset if needed.

Currently 99/7

I tried maxing psy wave and put two points into diamond dust. with 99 dex and 99int

My cast is fairly slow so i take a lot of dmg trying to do low ti's. or mobby maps

 

I read call vertus speeds up my casting speed but then i only have vatyr spear skill and it does really low dmg so i cant seem to find a balance here...Should i max safety wall and stick with psy wave or is there a better way for early stage lvling

pwave>diamong dust:>whatever you want is usually the most common solid route.

since sorc's spells have some cooldown, you want more than 1 to cycle through. After that's sorted, it's then your call if you want Ventus utility immedately or if you want yet more spells or other pets for elements etc.

I used 120 DEX and Temp DEX boots to help early on with cast time. I had Deviling to help with low-ish VIT during the early levels. Had like 50 ish VIT, 90 INT and went for 120 DEX.

i got psy wave, diamond dust, earth grave or whatever it's called and cycled through the 3. i stuck to low TI with tax until i got about job 15 or something. usually parties will invite you right away if you are a AOE killer. goodluck!

Do you guys think its worth investing in safety wall? or should i max out at least one bolt or fire wall?

I personally didn't get full bolts. I maxed SW and I put some points into FW. Id have to check my character. You can always get a skill reset if you don't like SW or FW out whatever. It's free as long as you're 99 and a few different ways after 99.

Rule of thumb: If your class has access to Safety Wall, max Safety Wall.

Bolts will not ever be used again unless you are doing a spell fist/autocast focused build. Firewall can be usefull for it's multihit for procs, but there wont be enough points to max it.
