hmm that doesn't sound right. Even the wiki says this:

"StatusATK This is derived from the player's Base LevelStrDex and Luk. This is always considered as Neutral property unless the player uses Mild Wind."

Or am I not reading that right?

Thanks for the link! You're right that really is a good explanation for how it works.

I see now there is part of the incoming damage that is only be reduced by def. Admittedly I forgot it worked that way  :heh:

But yeah hopefully one of these answers is what's going on with Sn4kEmx and should help them get just 1s.

i had the same setup too and same problem.

 

I believe changing the armor to something with high def like antonio coat or similar would solve it.

lian shoes is nice too

def and soft def are what makes hits actually do 1 damage. Don't forget tho that player's def gets the same penalty that flee does as monsters accumulate on you. Not that it would pose a significant threat, just to keep in mind it's normal to see higher damaging hits are monsters pile on.

Can I use Parasite Card instead of other shield cards?

Yes and I do use a Immune Shield carded with Parasite on rare occasions but you need to start with very high Neutral Resist to make that 5% be worth more than 15% or 30% you would get from a Hodremlin or the appropriate race card.

Nice guide!. What's the best map (maps) to level from 130 to 150 right now?

To be honest I haven't done much leveling lately except for some new characters at Sunken Ship, Harpies, and Low TI so not positive on how the maps before Verus/NCT are these days.

The normal thing after 126 would be to try High TI or keep the Mid TI quest and have Gramps warp you back to that map, but since we keep getting weird mixes for Gramps if you're having trouble there then I would recommend El Discaste or Scaraba Hall for 130-140. Once you're 140 go do the quests for Verus and you could stay there to 175. After 150 though I found Verus a bit slower than NCT but that was partially since I was turning in a few BB quests per day in Alde, so pure AFK Verus would be better.

 

But anyway my advice for 130 is use the Gramps TI maps whenever possible or use the Dungeon Teleporter in Eden to go to Scaraba Dungeon and then take the bottom right portal there to go to El Discaste field.

Making immortal characters is what possibilitates the AFK build, the method of delivering damage is irrelevant. In this case, post reflect changes, you need things that proc "when hit/damagef/attacked".

Less options of equipment than before but it's still doable, although most of these activate fire skills, so some maps are not doable anylonger against fire immune monsters. (Or you can do a hipster version that stacks some atk and kills through Venom Splasher from RoR at incredibly low speeds)

That sucks... so that explains why most afk gears prices have dropped. What are the other alternatives?
