Summary:
 
Kro Developer Notes 19, July.
 
 
 
In the development blog, Gravity has announced future changes to the KRO for 2019. It follows:

Episode 17.2 will be "The Mansion of Varmunt", and will tell the story of the most famous sage in the game. There will be new monsters and related dungeons.

2 - Players can edit / correct the prices of items with the store open.

3 - Effect of reflecting damage will no longer trigger autocast spells.

4 - There will be options to reduce the damage you receive from a reflection.

5 - A new type of bonus will be added: "Approximate physical damage". This effect is similar to "Physical Distant Damage", but will only apply to melee attacks.

6 - Re-balancing some skills. Rune Knight runes may affect Dragon Breath and Thousand-point Throw will have its damage increased by the weight of the spear. There will be other minor modifications in the homunculus of the Biochemists and the Guillotine Cross.

7- The new sprite of MECHA is almost ready, they are only having problems with the position of the cart.

 

We will briefly introduce the two new option options under development. 
First, it is an option to increase physical proximity damage, such as increasing existing ranged physical damage.

Secondly, the physical reflection damage application structure is going to be changed, and as a result, physical reflection damage 

will no longer cause the effect of "auto spell on physical attack" to occur.

A new item / skill option "Receive Close Physical Reflect Damage Reduction" effect will be 

added through the change of physical reflection damage structure .

Well, it will "fix" the afk leveling problem, but will happen what i mean at my signature, for an autocast build, reflect damage helps to do more autocasts, and are way better agains MVPs that use waterball or have a high ASPD, and now nothing else matters, its a nerf for a all real autocasters.
 
And one more thing: thank you for everyone that used a afk leveling build sometime, you have broken a fun build :) (just a bit of drama)

- Some skill will have a chance to trigger critical damage.

- Hundred Spear will deal more damage as heavier weapon.

- Changes some of Runestone effect.

Hundred spear doesn't mention if it will be with heavy or lighter weapons, anyways it already has a damage bonus dependant on weight so that's just weird of a mention.

Gotta say this really bums me and my fams out. We're new(er) to the game, still working on our first characters, & we jumped on this bandwagon because it's sooo much fun to play. Plus as far as visuals go, it really looks insane. Between the three of us our screens lights up like a good fireworks show. Currently we're looking forward to trying to figure out how we're going to afford the advanced copies of the rings. It's actually been a large attraction to play the game for us as we're trying to see how far you can push it. We've never once AFK'd and only use the combination of skills / items actively as we play the game. We used the free stat resets from the event to completely retool our characters to better use the newer more expensive auto gears we've been able to afford lately. I know we've not been playing for decade+ like some of you guys but dang, it was an accomplishment to get full auto sets across our three characters. LOL. Not even a month later it's gonna be nerfed? Sad times.

 

Off the top of my head wouldn't a better fix for this just be a simple timer mechanism added to a character that effects exp & loot? If you've not moved or spoke for three minutes then you get a debuff applied called "Not Battle Active" where you're now -100% exp gain & drop rate. This would not only fix the AFK autocast problem but the "right by the portal to a map" huge stack of characters AFK leeching as well. You gotta move to turn in quests, accept trades, or basically do anything so there's probably not a large window for accidental harm during implementation of this. Now you've fixed the problem(s) and not actually impacted the legitimate players who are using the items / builds as intended. At the end of the day we're just new players; we're not connected to the game, the community, the staff, or the company at all. I'm sure I don't understand the greater complexities of the issue and my solution probably lacks the grace of a well thought out dev team. If kRO and other larger servers are doing it, it's probably for a reason.

 

Well I guess we'll get all the auto play in we can before the hammer comes down.  :heh:

I guess when using certain runestone. The property of DB and DBW are changed from fire and water to other elements.

Most important change for me:

5.2 Assumptio
- Reduces delay after skill from 1.5 second to 0.5 second (on level 5).
- Changes skill mechanism, increases target's HardDef and incoming heal effectiveness for the duration.
- The skill can be used with Kyrie Eleison.
