I recently  came back to the game. I was shocked to learn what a fafnir scale armor was.

There was a point where i spent quite a bit of time / effort to acquire what was then a god item called brynhild ....

now i see it terribly outclassed buy an armor that is not a god item....

 

I am not even sure what its use is? given a fafnir can be worn by all jobs  ( other than the odd tanking on MS) 

 

what sorta era did i just step into ...
