Hello guys, I have some questions. Is Hero trade mail good for gene???

I saw a lot of people sell it in quite expensive and it need to combo with

Brooch of Hero, that mean I can use PDM. I'm not doing bio5 farming just

go for ET or MVP sometime. Can anyone help me with this ?

AFAIK high upgrade hero trade mail combo with brooch of hero to achieve no cast cart cannot with old midas whisper:)

It used to be BiS since it provided easy instant cast (530 total stats). Now, it's not so much the case since it's super easy to get 530 total stats without buffs or stats foods. I've listed the gears below to demonstrate that you don't really need this combo to achieve instant cast.

 

Abusive Robe allows you to use improve concentration Lv 1 which can yield anywhere between 3-5 DEX for a minute depending on your base stat.

 

The Temporal Ring + Runaway Magic enchant will give an easy +40 INT among other godly stats.

 

If you want to play with RGN, you can also get up to +5 int and +5dex on your Bio5 headgear.

 

D.Wing gives +10 INT and +10 DEX, but you'd have to sacrifice not using a S.Coronet. This option is only for those need the extra headgear slot.

 

Shadow refine event is active at the moment. It's a good opportunity to grab the Dex shadow set which will give you +5 DEX if +9 and the Intelligence shadow pendant by itself will give +3 INT if +9 as well.

 

You can also join the Arch Wand Clan at mid Prontera for a free +1 DEX and +1 INT. See irowiki.org/wiki/Clan_System for more details.

 

Still not enough stats? The Costume Creative Convention Hat gives +1 to all stats. Maybe replace one of your precious accessory card for a Zerom card or grab a well-chew pencil.

it still provides a good chunk of generic damage and qol stats

it’s basically armour for the lazy. If you want to maximize damage, HTM is not the way to go. The large stats provided just lets you hit instant cast easily without foods

I think people severely underestimate the importance of int but overall you wont use anything other than icefall / nature / abyss unless you are fighting randgris or something. Fire dragon armor is probably fine in these situations but htm will make you tankier.

Instant cast is a very superficial quality to pidgeonhole why htm is good.
