I’m not flush but my equips are as follows:
+12 eddga
Gambler’s seal
Heart card in mouth
+10 double liberation crimson (using this for MVP) otherwise +6 elven bow for normal PVM
+7 WWS sharp1/sharp1/luk3 (angry 9tails)
+9 temporal LUK hawkeye/aspd
+9 FAW fatal 2/3/4 (petal)
PDM (G. Scaraba)
Luminous blue stone (owl baron)
Shadow stuff:
+9 physical shadow earring
+9 liberation shoes
+7 safeguard shield
Stats (just resetted):
LV163
126 LUK (for def bypass)
120 DEX
97 AGI
The rest 1 ;___;
ASPD 188 ish, can reach 193 easy with VIP buff, pots, etc.
I dont have no limits yet.
Is prism scarf good for ET and will it be worth swapping my FAW for it?
Much appreciated thanks!!

I would say the most biggest influence on our damage is using the right element.
Some use elemental converter but of course the best would be using mild wind from zodiac headgear like Leo Crown for full elemental damage coverage.
But of course. +15 your crimson bow will sure bring you even closer to 30k+ damage target. Haha

To maximize your damage to those levels, you will need the bio5 headgear, +15 crimson bow, old detachment ring. You pretty much have everything else that is needed for high critical damage.

bio5+ old detachment ring is pretty insane actually; 70% crit damage just from the ring alone. Definitely get it even if you don't have acute enchant on your hat.

Ring is from past cash shop, you just missed firesale which ended yesterday. Buying from players should be around 1.3-1.7B

Just wondering though: if I have a temporal ring, should it replace the PDM? I’m hoping to get the luminous stone eventually changes to old detach and headgear changed to old camo.
Also i heard somewhere that falcon is better at hitlocking an mvp. Is this true? Thanks!

Falcon is bad in hit lock mvp, because it deal small aoe dmg, so it lure the boss minion to attack you. :v warg is better. Gambler set has same cons as falcon attack too.

if you have max attack speed and standing in correct position aka L-shaped, you can hitlocked even the MVP slaves too. Gambler seal combo is basically God's gift for AOE hitlock.

No need to replace PDM for Temporal Ring. Bypassing def ends up being better. More damage.
You should get the bio 5 hat with at least Acute lvl 3 to 5. There in my signature you can check out the youtube channel where i create some builds for crit ranger.
Goodluck~

Hey all thanks for your reply! I'm back playing RO again and have managed to grab a few new gears since then and improve my character.
Still would like some advice though!
Previous vs current EQs:
+12 eddga +8 old camo [1] Acute 2/ DEX 3 /STR 3 (I know.. but my luck is -.-y and thought I'd stick with it for a bit of STR carry weight anyway..my STR is 1)
Gambler’s seal
Heart card in mouth
+10 double liberation crimson (using this for MVP) otherwise +6 elven bow for normal PVM
+7 WWS sharp1/sharp1/luk3 (angry 9tails)
+9 temporal LUK hawkeye/aspd
+9 FAW fatal 2/3/4 (petal)
PDM (G. Scaraba)Luminous blue stone (owl baron) ODR
Shadow stuff:
+9 physical shadow earring
+9 liberation shoes
+7 safeguard shield
+9 critical shadow weapon
+9 critical shadow armor
Previous vs current Stats:LV163 170
126 LUK (for def bypass)
120 DEX97 AGI 105 AGI
INT 25
The rest 1 ;___; (though I still have some stat points pending from 2 levels ago)
ASPD 188 ish, can reach 193 easy with VIP buff, pots, etc.
Now my questions:
- I tried using elemental converter (water), bless scroll, falcon eye, improve conc on Fire eggs and deals 19k crit damage. Is this normal? What can I do to improve this damage (around 30k crit)? Granted I used the AK bow for this test
- What other gear can I improve on from here? What should I aim for?
- I know some costumes can be useful. What costumes should I get?
- is Full Throttle neccesary for this build to achieve the high 30k damage, esp when MVPing? Is prism scarf needed here? I worry that my damage output will be less than if I use my FAW
- I've been searching and apparently Angra Mantis card is popular for headgear. However I notice the effect is only for thief classes. Is there a better alternative?
Thank you so much all!!

I just gonna comment on things that can significantly boost your auto attack damage:
1. You can try using Royal Guard shield + Gaia shield (any shield with 150 def) to get that sweet 150 more atk.
2.You can also try using those Racial/ Elemental armor aka Abyss, Nature and Icefall dress.
3. +15 your Crimson bow or get a +12 and above Vicious Mind Bow
4. Use Zodiac headgear to proc the specific mild wind elemental boost to your atk. (They provided 50% more increase in your current damage)
5. Finally, if you are a tycoon and money is not a problem. Get yourself a Lord Knight MVP card. This will triple your damage. Haha.
Your gears are fine. Just need to refine your WW suit + Crimson bow more. Lvl up your bio5 Acute headgear. Aim to get those Racial/Elemental specific dress.
Shadow gears. Try to complete your physical set and get those elemental bonus damage shadow armor. Like Basis shadow armor, Saharic shadow armor, and etc
If you have the spare skill points, just go for Full throttle but unfortunately. Those Full throttle stats bonus is not enough to reach that sweet 30k. Prism scarf do less damage than FAW but with lower CD for no limit. It good when you need to keep using no limit in succession for example ET and bio5.
My final advise for you is since you already had lots of crit% damage modifier from bio5 headgear + ODR, gambler seal combo, FAW and Temporal Luk.
It is a bad idea to add even more crit% damage modifier as it will provide even less increase in damage than it should.
RO game mechanic is very sophisticated. It doesn't allow you to be OP from just one type of damage bonus. You need to have an all balanced increase in stats and different type of modifier if you want a good increase in your damage.
P.S I have a YouTube channel which focus on ranger mostly since it my main. Haha.

May I ask why physical shadow gear and not the crit one? Is it more beneficial to have the phys one instead?
And yes I agree with the WW, saving up for a higher + at the moment >,> thank you so much for your input!

You have a tonne of critical damage % from your gears, where as physical shadow set provides ASPD%, EATK and ATK%. Can still use a Crit Shadow Armor if you want it, but not that important since on average you can get 150+ critical strike chance these days.

Ahhhh very good point. Much appreciated! Do you have any inputs on what card should my WW be, or what enchant should aim for?

Up to you, I went with multiple damage/element defense cards like Ktull/Gloom/Evil Druid/Pasana/Swordfish/Dokebi. As for enchants, I used Sharp2/1, but again, it's really easy to get Crit Chance now, so could always go for DEX enchants or Expert Archer.
