I used to be a pretty avid tabletop gamer, and for a while now I've been looking for an MMORPG that still remembers that RP stands for "Role Playing"...because, you know, without that it's just MMOG, and I already have URU. In a lot of games I've played, your "character" is less a character, and more a handy mannequin to hang stats on and play dress-up. So I guess what I'm asking is how much people focus on stats alone, and how much on telling stories and trying to actually be "in" the game world.

There's virtually no role-playing in RO because the game doesn't support it very much. There are some people on each of the servers who are RPers, but you'll rarely run into them.

Yeah, everyone is focused on leveling and WoE only =(

Kind of hard to change that when the game REALLY doesn't support role-playing and you have to look for quests instead of being directed to them.

yeah that one may be hard... i hope gravity change that cuss this aren't how things are done in todays times...
