hello guys, I have tried loads of AI including the famous Azzyai and none of them worked on my vanilmirth...
any of you knows how to make it happen?

Hello there,
What are you planning to do with the AI?
Basic AzzyAI stuff should still work, at least from what I have tested in the closed beta. Though the automation part of the AI will not work, this is intended as part of the homunculus update.

Well, I do intend to have my homunculus attacking certain mobs even if I'm AFK, as it would do when homunculus were launched with the trans classes a long time ago.
I did try that but wasn't able to make the AI work

Yeah basically AI is kinda dead overall. All i've managed to get it to do is...
Amistr - Literally nothing in terms of AI
Lif - Attack when its hit
Filir - Attack when its hit, Use moonlight when supporting.
Alche currently is just a very gimped job.

You will not be able to have the homun attack for you while being AFK anymore. The update made it that you have to manually and actively command it to attack.

There is no more ai. Follow distance, maybe?
I've heard people having issues even manually using skills in beta.

This kinda defeats the purpose of having an AI. Can't you just make it so that the homunculus attacks WITH the player instead? (If the reason for removing the auto attack function is to prevent AFK leveling). Or maybe put the attack function of the homunculus to be customised in the interface window. It's a pain having to click Alt+right click all the time on the monsters.

I highly doubt it is something iRO can do in house. Some mechanics are hardcoded and can only be adjusted by the developers (kRo).

Is there anyway to make it auto attack with the player though but not auto attack by itself? Again, such a huge pain to ALT+Right click every monster. This totally ruined the homunculus system IMO.

You're better off killing for it and giving it 10% of your exp than killing low level monsters at a snails pace.

Maybe you can tweak it a bit to make it auto attack when the master attacks? In the current setting, you can't even directly use Caprice on a monster if the homunculus is not melee attacking the monster (so you'd have to ALT+Right click first) which is very frustrating. It's kinda like asking a wizard to melee attack a monster first before being able to cast a skill. What a joke.

Please avoid mention of illegal servers on these boards as they work differently than the official servers. Post has been removed.
DamienCloud, I am afraid it may not be possible in house. Things like that will have to be done through the developers (kRO).

I basically cart cannon everything now but I would like my homunculus to attack when it gets hit. What's the point of a battle pet that doesn't battle? I know you are trying to end afk leveling but you are killing a class at the same time. I don't want to afk level, I want to level with my pet. There's gotta be a way to make it at least assist... I am going to be leveling in GH for the spotlight, so I won't be using cart cannon unless I get mobbed. No need to cart cannon a single mob. Please rethink the AI so that our pets attack with us.

Best idea, maybe KRO will do that. Doesn't bring back idle leveling and promotes active leveling

They are doing a game change now the master is the homun and the homun is 24h afk and u are leveling the homun.
At least auto-feed is legal now, best update , right guys....guys???

Active the auto attack/skill function and disable any type of AUTOFEED = you save homunculus and prevent AFK leveling
You can maybe decreasse hungry from 100 to 50, it will prevent even more alchemists to stay AFK

At the least, let me target an enemy with a hom skill without having to manually target the thing for him first.
For god sake it is so pointless to force me to do that every time, and the little blob knows to continue attacking after using caprice on something.
The way it is now isn't putting the cart before the horse, it's taking the horse out back, shooting it, and telling the passengers to get out and push the cart themselves.
And for god sake fix how it keeps automatically entering stay still mode constantly for no reason.

Have you tried switching to custom AI (AzzyAI) for better performance?
As for the auto attack thing, this is intended so they can't really fix what is marked as intended :/
Though it is very clear many users are not happy with this update, the fact that for ground targeted attacks you still need to single target an enemy, I find this very strange.

I know the "protect owner" inst work, but if with Liff and Fillir the "protect itself" is working, this can be done
