Oh! By the way!

Fraps + Adobe After Effect = Random crashes

Took me awhile to figure that out, so turn off Fraps!

I'll try explain quickly what I did!

- Printscreen the emblem ingame with a solid color in the backgound (Alban sky at night for example)
- Opened the screenshot in GIMP, choose Image -> Color to alpha
- Choose the color of the sky and OK

As you probably know, the alpha channel (color) is the invisible/translucent/see-through color

- Then I cropped the image so it became smaller
- Also made two different pictures of the emblem. One with the black part, and one with the green (as you can see they are moving independently of eachother)
- Saved both these pictures as PNG

- Imported both of the pictures in After Effect
- Added the guild and server text (I didn't save it in the PNGs)
- Added a solid background color -> Applied "noise/dust" effect to it
- Added some pre-made text effects which only works on TEXT (that's why I didn't save the guild text in the PNGs)
- one of the effects changes position of letters randomly
- another one "increase/decrease" the letter/number. A becomes B, B becomes C, 1 becomes ¤, and x becomes y (randomly)
- another effect I added was "Florence", which makes the letters opacity (visibility) changes (randomly)
- On the PNG with the background emblem (the black part) I just changed the "rotation" of it. At position 00:00:00 it would be 130º, at pos 00:00:43 it would be 30º, and so on...
- On the green PNG I just added some weird bubble/wiggle effect I think, and also (like above) changed over time.

At this time I had only 3 layers:
1 green emblem
2 black emblem
3 guild text
4 server text
5 background (the one with noise effect)

- Layer -> Add adjustment layer above all layers (a invisible layer which you can add effects to which will affect everything (every layer) below it with that effect)
- Then added some pre-made effect presets like "Directional Blur" (A effect that makes things moving fast blurry) to above mentioned layer

Hmm... when I was happy with the result and had it look okay when looping (most tricky part) I rendered the animation like follows:

- Composition -> Make movie. Then choose output module as PNG (so it creates 1 PNG image for each frame in the animation)
- Imported all these new PNG images in APNG Anime Maker and choose optimize, FPS, and saved it.
- To preview it I had to open/drag it into Opera, since faildows can't preview animated PNGs in their photoviewer ;~;
