Have started to play back renewal yesterday and started out with acolyte.

went to payon forest to train my low level acolyte and monsters were so difficult to kill due to low strength and monsters hit me hard and i died like numerous of times, more than 10 i think.

 

Wanted to find group to train also hard, and there is like literally no one there to group with. Either all were solo or bots with response like no thanks and no response.

 

Almost wanting to give up already.

Any places where acolyte able to solo?

Yes there is no real party play on chaos now unless you find guild or manage to friend some passing by vet lvling alt. You need to make a killer char to lvl your support this is a problem in higher lvls too.

You can try Payon Cave. Heal Bomb on zombie and slowly make your way up. That's how I level mine back then. You still need a decent heal damage though.

There's al ot of early game starting support for new players on iRO.

What I do is I go to the criatura academy, north of izlude and I sign up for the academy and then I talk to the Eden Group Officer and went in there, went to the counter and did this

then I went ahead and did the Criatura Academy Quests:

Then you can enchant your weapon and armor as directed from the Enchanter Mounds Quest Section

 

In which he enchants your armor for +100 HP and +50 SP and then you can enchant your novice mace weapon with some enchants

last but not least there's the eden group leveling quests in which there's various quests you can take dealing with a low amount of monsters:

Partying is almost non existent in renewal. You need to make a main killer character and dual your priest. I solo my main to lv 105 now, I've gotten in like 1 low TI party that's about it. Even now low/mid TI is dead no one wants to party. There's only people selling leech for 30m for 30 minutes<< lol like new players have that kind of zeny.

 

There's also like no active pvm guilds.

When your level is high enough, you can go get a mercenary with AoE (I prefer bowman mercs) and find a good spot at Ant Hell Dungeon

There's also a mercenary with magnificat if you need it for sp regen as an aco

I suggest you to make batte priest stat first at early lvl. Then reset your stat to me after ur lvl high enough. Then after u r 175 reset to fs.

I suggest you got str/agi/dex until you got enough job lvls for heal bomb or whenever you feel comfortable, then go to reset your stats at eden with the clown (5x times stats, 1x skill) , mesmerist (1x, with stats).

 

After that just healbomb zombies, skeleton, then move on to 2nd floor, repeat the same with soldier skeleton, skeleton archer, then 3rd floor bongun/munak... then you can go Glast Heim for Evil Druid... By the time you're  a priest. Just go TI

priest lol, when I started RO I used thief class & archer class where I reach 120 without any problem

pump some initial str/dex on the character, it wont hurt you on the long run and will make the very early lvls much easier.
Kill very weak stuff for the first few lvls, then you can transition into tougher mobs with a bit higher hp pool/damage.
(the +100hp/50sp enchanted cotton shirt you can get in izlude is of big help, as well as the novice mace with some atk/str enchants)
When you get just a bit stronger, you van always visit the geffen maps to kill Mandragoras for Stems. They will give you some exp but mainly a steady source of initial income to improve your initial gearing by a lot.

You can create more than 1 account tho. But why Battle priest? Priest got not much to skill to dd other than Blessing, Agi up and etc.

You can try joining Eden Group and complete the quests for free equipment (link provided below). It's a fun way to level even if you're going solo and the items are quite useful for such free stuff. It's what I followed when I came back to RO in 2014.

Starting over in Chaos right now is not easy. You need to have some RO experiences in the past, to know what to do and/or where to go. I think making a first character FS priest is not a good choice. It's hard to find a party, unless you already have friends in Chaos. Your otpions that you now have is either make a battle priest or simply make a new-player friendly character such as Archer or Merchant.

or thief! definitely make a merchant for dc/oc/vending. if you go the FS priest route maybe do ME/FS? You'll need a phen either way.

Just make a ranger main get WhiteWingset+elven bow and carry your support. A battle ab with no gear is not gonna do trust me.

I have about 50 red envelopes. These should get you to lvl 50-60 if you're lucky. Pm Ultimate in game

If you choose to make a ranger, I will gift you some good gear so you can try some other stuff.

I came back after a break and realise i cant do anything

Its hard to find low level parties

For my 175 char, all prices are inflated ... i cant buy anything with the zeny i have, and cant sell any of the old stuff i have.
