Hello everyone! I am a long, long time fan of RO. I've been away from the game for quite some time now, having only returned a few days ago after several years hiatus. I am really excited about transcendence, and am glad to see so many people in game! Aside from the obvious changes, i've noticed a couple of negative things right away. Gamer etiquette has changed. When i used to play, hardly anyone would KS and now it seems every other person will. Ive also had people run right up to me while im busy killing a suddenly formed mob so i dont get overwhelmed, and steal my loot right from under me. I often don't even see what it is they took, because im busy trying to stay alive. Both of these things have been very frustrating.

 

I wonder if any of the dev's reading might consider

 

1) extending the time that loot is locked to the person who killed the mob, and

2) i wonder if there is any way to lock people out from attacking or at least from gaining any benefit to attacking a mob that is already engaged with someone else. Would it be possible to deny them any EXP and keep them locked out from the loot if they attack a mob that was already engaged, even if they do most of the damage? Surely robbing KSers the incentive to KS would stop them from doing it.

this is something that is neat about Ragnarok Transcendence, we did not have this level of ksing / loot stealing on Renwal or classic or even Re-start, this problem is because a lot of toxic players that do this on their own server thought it would be fun to come over to iRo and bring their way of doing things with them, we call these people kukres because they steal everything, this is a matter that has been put before the Warpportal Team and nothing has been done about it, we have told them to up the timer that loot has for the player, and they say it is hard coded in so that only the Devs at gravity can change it (IF THEY FEEL LIKE IT), i my self have put in boat load of tickets reporting ks'ers and looters but nothing has been done about it, it is frustrating to no end, so the only thing i can tell you to help you out it to grab your items as fast as you can, and try to enjoy the game.

According to game rules, once an item is free for all... it's free, like, for all.

You could try using the Greed skill or maybe don't mob so hard you can't loot items, just an idea

But -_- it I basically quit this server already along with everyone else I talked into playing. WoE taking forever and most of us work essential jobs and don’t have time to leech WoE characters. With drops and EXP rate in it allows everyone that’s at home not working to get everything they need while those of us working are left behind.

I got an alchemist at lvl 75 and want to level it up to 99, maybe I can do it today. What are my options to get up those lasts levels in a few hours?

Sorry to have known your issue upon your return. Welcome back!

Things might have changed a lot now vs whatever years ago you've played.

You can't technically change people, whoever is born this way will be born this way.

The only thing you can do is play the game, and enjoy it in a different perspective.

Loots don't make much money now anyways, so let him take the loot. If typing this forum post took you 10 min, that's 10 min that could've been used to kill 100 more mobs with more loots with this guy only getting 20 if he got lucky teleporting to your spot.

I hope you don't stress yourself out a lot from this basic issue. There are SOLO'able instances that you can actually do yourself so you dont get any COMPETITION with the loots and all. Just saying if you dont know. Hope you're having a good day.

i got 99 in the first 3days the server opens. isis was pgood exp and now u got unlimited harpies spawn that gives more exp

For KS-ing, IF they directly hit the mob thats engaged at you then thats rude.

But if its a rebel doing Round Trip, and are far away from you. Its hard to 'blame them' if there's a mob or several mob hitting them, and the result on casting Round Trip ends up killing your mob as well.They didn't 'purposely target you'. Even if you ticket it, its hard to justify if they are actually grieving you, or accidental KS.

 

As for standing there to loot your items, items have a protection that last quite a while. So unless you're cosntantly being mobbed and unable to pick it, they don't have a chance to loot your items. Alternatively, Heroic Backpack so Greed after each kill.

 

Lastly, Low TI, Mid TI, High TI, Nogg road or any other maps.. just have too many spawns. Either you wing or they wing. Like someone mentioned earlier, 10mins here is worth 10mins killing.

You can definitely do 1-99 in a day then rebirth and 1-99 the same day.

 

Happy Balloon, Leaf Cat, Happy/Lian Shield, Steam Rings, EXP costumes

 

1. Get some lvls then go Magnum break at Ant Hell (with a blast clip if your class doesnt have AoE)

2. Do the same at Orcs, with Skelly cat and fish in mouth, you can outheal them. Catherine Von Blood also ensures you always have sp. (bounties if you want)

3. 56-71 Maneater Blossoms, Sticky web food

4. 71-85 Harpies or whatever

5. 85-99 Low TI or leech with rebel. You can also reset your TI count every few hours.

 

1 BMX can get you to 71, another 1.5 ish will get you to 99. After rebirth it takes a little longer but definitely doable within 24 hours.

2-3 days is certainly possible from 1-99 ultra grind

but 1 day to 99 is overly exaggerated

dont give false info to new people just starting out

but who the hell plays 24 hours in a day?

what about sleep, eating, and breaks in between? 

 

people have died from cardiac arrest due to 20+ hours of straight computer game time, ok low cute profile nice guy lol

I have a few 99s already but what I don’t have is a full woe character. Leeching WoE character takes time and as I stated with the world wide shut down I actually work more hours then before. So the even that is helping many people prepare is not useful for myself and others.

This is probably someone who wakes up and logs on and logs off right before they sleep. With the EXP even it can probably be done.

Yes I have been sleeping 4.5 hours a day since I turned 18 years old. You know, when you sleep, you’re just falling behind other people who are awake and being productive! So ... 19.5 hrs? That’s more than enough /pif

That server has been dead for years do to no WoE updates. Why would I ever log that again?

for RoT u just need make an archer and leech, yeh leech, if u lvling a trapper 1-99 can be done in like 8-12hr if u know what you doing and know how to kill certains mvps

if you absolutely no life the character from like 6am to midnight with a guild/group of friends doing the same thing you can easily 99 a character in a day.

Still completely impossible for a new user as you'd need a lot of money in order to buy the gear/potions needed to solo Low TI as well as the items to deliver if you're doing delivery quests (fastest way to lvl at those brackets).

I don't see any way it would be possible to get to lvl 99 rebirth in one day as a solo new player with no p2w (no vip nor any other kind of rmt).
