Hello everyone! I am a long, long time fan of RO. I've been away from the game for quite some time now, having only returned a few days ago after several years hiatus. I am really excited about transcendence, and am glad to see so many people in game! Aside from the obvious changes, i've noticed a couple of negative things right away. Gamer etiquette has changed. When i used to play, hardly anyone would KS and now it seems every other person will. Ive also had people run right up to me while im busy killing a suddenly formed mob so i dont get overwhelmed, and steal my loot right from under me. I often don't even see what it is they took, because im busy trying to stay alive. Both of these things have been very frustrating.
I wonder if any of the dev's reading might consider
1) extending the time that loot is locked to the person who killed the mob, and
2) i wonder if there is any way to lock people out from attacking or at least from gaining any benefit to attacking a mob that is already engaged with someone else. Would it be possible to deny them any EXP and keep them locked out from the loot if they attack a mob that was already engaged, even if they do most of the damage? Surely robbing KSers the incentive to KS would stop them from doing it.
