Sadly the new Homunuculus update has made AI automation obsolete.

What are you looking to do with the Homun? If you can clarify that users may be able to help you choose :)

They are still useful on their support skills, some offensive/debuff skills and TP meat shield.

However, it is as good as the user make it to be.

Sadly the new Homunuculus update has made AI automation obsolete.

What are you looking to do with the Homun? If you can clarify that users may be able to help you choose :)

The reason why the system doesn't work anymore is actually pretty simple.

If you give your homunculus an ingame-command like "move" or "attack" the command is passed on to the Homunculus-AI in your AI-folder.

There the command will be processed and homunculus ends up doing something in the game.

Without this command some in-built functions won't work anymore.

Not because the functions are broken, but because the passed on information is always nil (null) or -1.

As example with ingame-command its:  "Move to x y"

Without command its "Move to -1 -1". This is a location that does not exist on the map. Therefore your homunculus ends up doing nothing.

Sadly this probably can't be fixed through AI-programming.

I tried to pass on automated ingame-commands, but as long as the monster is not marked with an circle above its head it probably won't work.

Here's a little list about things that Auto-Work and what does not.

Automated things your homunculus can still do completely on its own:

- Get owners X,Y location
- Follow owner
- Run around from location1 to location2. As example it can circle the owner in a square of 5x5 nonstop (if programmed manually in AI.lua)
- It can declare the owners enemy as its own enemy
- It can read out all Player-IDs, Monster-IDs, Pet-IDs, and Homunculus-IDs in sight
- It can check if one of the IDs is a monster and name it as its own enemy
- It can check if the Monster is dead or not

Things that don't work without command:

- Receive the current X,Y location of the enemy (therefore homunculus can't chase the enemy)
- Attack enemy (Even if you type in the enemy ID into the AI.lua manually it won't attack the monster)
- Use Skills on enemy (same es for attack)

There's a lot more but I think this is the most important stuff.

I'm confused about which things work or not so I'll go ahead ask.

Does the auto-buff such as Amistr Bulwark still work using AzzyAI or some other AI?
If so, how?
I cannot get mine to work even with BaseHomunculus being set to right one (Amistr in this case).

It's not included on BlueSpark's list.

As far as I tested it won't autocast at all.

You need to click the skills manually through the homunculus skill window or drag the skills into your skill slots.

Sorry
