So with the re balance of this skill, it is now able to cast the following skills at 20% at level 10 Hindsight:

 

level 1-3 : Fire Bolt/ Cold Bolt/ Lightning Bolt.
level 4-6 : Soul Strike/ Fire Ball.
level 7-9 : Earth Spike/ Frost Diver.
level 10 : Thunderstorm/ Heaven's Drive.

 

The question is, since it now states that it'll not cast skills that the sage doesn't have, does that mean we narrow down the auto-cast to specific skills.

 

I.e. If i only have Thunderstorm and Heaven's drive, then Hindsight will only auto cast Lightning bolt (pre-req), Earth Spike (Pre-req), Thunderstorm and Heaven's Drive.

 

That guarantees 20% autocasting AOE half the time? Or is it 20% chance of casting every possible skills? (In which case having more skills available is better since it'll proc the autocast more often)

What? Have you tried using it?

 

You select 1 spell to autocast through hindsight. You then have 20% chance to cast that 1 spell per attack.

When you cast Hindsight, it opens up a menu of your available skills. You then pick which skill to autocast. Hindsight at lvl 10 will have a 20% chance to autocast whatever skill you picked from the menu. And since it sounds like you're brand new to Hindsight, Hindsight triggers when doing normal attacks. You do not have to hit the monster as even a "miss" can trigger Hindsight's autocast.
