i just did OGH for first time with Oboro and literally kill with1 Exploding dragon on Corrupted soul and 3 on Amdarais
 
Check those replays ive made
 

 
1.- Do they have some hp penalties in solo intances like Faceworm Queen?

2.- Their big bodies stands in diferents cells? if they do
2.1.- Does Exploding Dragon's damage works per cell independent?

All ninja area skills deal an instance of damage per cell in it's AoE, and they stay on the ground by a brief moment, its not exactly instant cast and deal damage.
You see it more often when monsters are following you, they will will from one cell of to another while the skill is hitting them and get hit twice(sometimes 3 hits if making a diagonal turn at high movespeed).

Amdarais and Root should be the only monsters in the game that ocupy a 3x3 cell space instead of 1x1.

holy -_- that means u get 9 shots of exploding dragon for each cast on these 2 mob. Wonder if it applies to the advanced version o.O

 

Btw, magic obo/kage feels fantastic to play with that 0.5sec delay exploding dragon. Ive been having fun with my kagerou as well.

it's even faster if you are using the proper damage gears, as each Shinobi Sash H gives 5% delay reduction and KOSC gives 20%, bringing it down to 0.35s between each cast.


(Not only that means this situation happens, Desperado will also always deals 10 hits if you teleport to their center cell.)

well, tested on hard amdarais. Doesn't work. I think only normal OGH has this weird interaction.
