Good Morning Ragnarok Community!

 

I just wanted to make an informal post about whats going on. Currently the team is out as its a holiday to celebrate the 4th of July.

 

Last night the studio delivered the next content patch for RO1/RT. I will be going through that monday to catalog what we're getting exactly. Last night around I made a break through on my errors for on updating EAC. I need confirmation from the studio but we should be able to update the system soon..ish in the near future so hopefully we can push against the bad users. 

 

Unfortunately early in this week I missed my meeting with the head GM and will be meeting with him this upcoming week. I sadly was out due to a family emergency. Everyone is fine now.

 

I see the posts about the 4th of July bandanna I can look at switching it out for renewal. 

 

Regarding drops, blacksmith status, and FAS I will be poking the studio on this subject again. Since we're in update mode they should be more available for exe fixes right now.

In short I hope everyone has a good weekend and I will catch up with you guys next week. I will still be checking on things from time to time over the weekend but may not touch my PMs for a few days.

Some simple changes will greatly improve the game. Adjusting the level of the abyss lake and biolab monsters, around 110 would be enough, increasing the spawning of einbech, desert wolves and others. None of this requires time or authorization from the studio.

Some simple changes will greatly improve the game. Adjusting the level of the abyss lake and biolab monsters, around 110 would be enough, increasing the spawning of einbech, desert wolves and others. None of this requires time or authorization from the studio.

I'm pretty sure any changes pertaining to changing monsters' stats and spawn rates require approval from the studio and proper testing/discussion with other staff members. Lol

I'm sure not. You may not have followed RT from the beginning, changes of this type have been made previously, as in the case of strouf spawning. Due to the speed with which it was made, there was no participation by the studio.

I'm sure not. You may not have followed RT from the beginning, changes of this type have been made previously, as in the case of strouf spawning. Due to the speed with which it was made, there was no participation by the studio.

Just because it wasn't communicated doesn't mean that there wasn't any involvment from the studio. Perhaps they were quicker to respond or more involved when transcendence first came out. Maybe there was no involvment, but we can't be 100% sure because at the end of the day changing spawn rates is changing the game. I'd assume that Camp won't be able to freely change things like that without additional conversations.

EAC disables my media keys (volume controls on my keyboard) when RO is up.

It doesn't happen when I launch The Division 2 - a game that uses the same EAC service. 

Also, can we request the service provider to fix the issue with EAC not allowing more than one game running the same EAC to run at the same time?
