So....this thing is immune to physical attacks and as a GX with no SD does that mean I'm SOL?

It can be damaged by Bapho/Gambler's Seal splash too. Not exactly a good way to kill it, but the option is there

don't you have SD at least at lvl1 as a pre requisite for MA?

At lvl1 it packs half the damage of lvl10, but has 1/3 the cast delay. Effectively it is better dps wise than 10 unless you were able to completely remove the delay of it. If you got someone/an alt to tank the mvp, you can take it down without much trouble. (use 100% water reduction+wind armor and you are 90% good)

Yoi still need Frozen immunity. If you get frozen then that Wind skill, it will hit you very hard.

The key is to yeah, water and wind reduction and frozen immunity.

Just go with friends. You also bring alts with you right? Gen can do it just fine. WL too. Etc.

Today there's the easier way of achieving that resistance (maybe not the cheapest) wich is to use an unfrozen wind armor and a leviathan muffler.

What me and friends/guild did way back in the day when nothing of that existed and we didn't have a gtb at hand was to use the same armor(5%), and use a Valk Shield(20%), Coldproof potion(20%), Marse carded Nidhog shadow garb(37%) and wichever mix of Leaf Cat cards(10% each, headgear),Kafra Blossom cards(10% each), Glorious rings(10% each), Waterdrop Brooch(5% each) we had at hand.

With that you can tank on a multitude of classes (of course use other defensive stuff, like Alice cards etc), most notably with Safety Wall classes, AB, Sorc, WL. Can do it on sura of course, will just have to mental strength again once you get dispelled.
