iRO Transcendence Weekly Maintenance

October 15th, 4:00PM - 10:00PM PDT

 

 

Hello Everyone,
Today's maintenance is heavy on the backend again and light on the content. This should be the final maintenance in the series as everything is being put into place for the improvement project.

This week for RO1

• Investment is being updated so it properly runs after this maintenance

This week for RT

• Ice wall and Magnetic Earth to be blocked in town interior maps.

The following are ready for implementation after backend changes are 100% completed.
RO1/RT

• Daily Login Campaign Update

RO1

• Samael Dress now increases damage and mdamage versus insect monsters
• Fixed the Issue Preventing OS weapons from being enchanted
• Description of Giant Shoes and Samael updated to state those were banned from WoE TE 
• Kachua WoE Teleport Scrolls Added to Stacker
• Daily Login Rewards are updated for October.

Currently preparing the following content for testing and then implementation after backend changes are 100% completed.
RO/RT

• Trick or Treat Event

RT

• Introduce Nameless Island
• Introduce Endless Tower.
• WoE Balance Changes

RO1

• Illusion Dungeon

For RT users were holding off on 3rd classes for now while we process all the feedback surrounding them.
Events

• 
  "Wandering Merchants" Event continues!
  • Towns: Izlude, Hugel, Alberta, Payon, Comodo, Geffen, Rachel, Veins
  • Stock (Limited Quantities): Strawberries, Witch Starsands, Blue Herbs, Stems
  • Restock Periods: NPCs restock daily at a different offset hour for each NPC. This is to ensure that players from all time zones have a chance to purchase these items.

  Our Novice Quest "A Journey Together" is now available!
  • To get started, head on over to Archer Village (pay_arche 49 138)
• 
  Experience a new adventure with the Skill Balance Update!
  • You can get a partial stat reset from Sam Status in Payon (180 115)
• 
  Our Homeward Bound Event has been extended (Ending date is to be determined)!
  • Enjoy a bonus +50% EXP and +25% Drops as you stay indoors and keep safe!
• 
  The first set of Frenzy Fields are now open!
  • Eliminate monsters on certain maps to unlock stronger monsters with rare and unique loot!
• 
  Guild vs Guild wars will begin in the War of Emperium!
  • Think your guild has what it takes to be the best in PvP? Prepare yourself as you fight with your guild for ownership of guild castles and daily treasures!

I like the communication, a lot of very good things being implemented. Still a few more things to be fixed and added, but I really like today's information

In all seriousness, these updates are pretty decent. Would love an EXP boost event soon in RO1 though, it's starting to get boring leveling at NCT.

There are more issues that need adressing, but communication is a good thing.

I just recently came back to play because I heard Trans classes came out and I just encouraged my sister (former Sakaray>Iris>Ymir>chaos transfer like me) and my cousin (New to the game). Now I'm reading all of this potential for third class lingo and I'm getting really discouraged and disappointed (I hope this doesn't happen.. I've spent so much money and time here on RT...) . The main reason I joined RT with my sister is because it didn't have third classes (My cousin is confused and he doesn't know what's coming... poor guy lol). I'm looking at my Chaos account with a bitter feeling now... Have I wasted my time and money? It's very discouraging. I literally made the same classes too. Sigh... I'm assuming merge is in the future of RT.

Nobody knows what will happen in the future, @campitor and his team listened to the community a lot and I believe they will continue to listen and will not release 3rd (at least not in the coming months).

The server is really fun, we just need a content schedule, make it more attractive for newbie players, EAC and solve the account creation problem.

RT is being one of the most fun servers I've ever played. And I've played bRO since the beginning, a lot of privates server and a little bit of iRO.

take ur time! make sure everything is tested and is working so that the server this week wont turn into a meme. please if possible to add the kafra outside the woe2 castles / woe1 realms like they did in chaos and past classic server. also any ETA on the high end armor enchantment?

Is there a possible timeline? When possible reset for Top Alchemist and Top Blacksmith be? or if there are none?

 

Any update as well for MASS BREW NPC ? @_@ Kinda hard to brew the condensed white potion atm @_@ takes a lot of time

Checking in again, work is still continuing. I still dont' have an estimate but will stay with you until its done.
