+15 guardian soul can‘t defense Tetra Vortex in lab5

I’m gx all  stats 90 

boss defense 60%

have +15 guardian soul

but Tetra Vortex can give me 4*50K+ damage

Do you know why

TV is neutral element

Tetra Vortex player =/= Tetra Vortex Monsters

Guardian soul only gives you protection against holy,shadow, fire, water, earth and wind.

 

There are other element such as Poison, Undead, Ghost and Neutral that you won't get protection from.

 

Tetra Vortex from monsters is Neutral.

on side note, Splash Cat Hat reduces only physical damage from boss monster, not magic. So that GX would have 40% reduction against Tetra Voretx
