Just saw that there's this new level 185 patch, and wanted to give it a try.

 

Tried to use the Charleston Upgrade Parts ( Melee and Ranged ) and surprisingly, they're still not working.  

 

Any tips on the new gear/items Mados use now?  tried out the level 5 Arm Cannon, and it is quite the improvement.

 

Last time I logged on was to try out the new Charleston Instance with the new "supposed" enchantments for the Pile Bunkers.

not a good timing on playing mado gear, 185 update, have lvl5 Arm cannon, I thought it will be a great improvement.

But, it is not, it is big nerf, because this update add 0.65s cool-down on it, so the dps is extremely lower than before

If you try to use Arm Cannon lvl3, it also have 0.35s cool down, which is even worse than pre-185’s Arm Cannon lvl3, because that time there are no cool down for Arm Cannon

Ahh but this is my only 175 character, I'd have to make do.

Any suggestions on what gear to go for?

I currently have the Bio 5 headgear, Seraphim set, supplement chips, upgrade part engine and temporal dex boots.

usually have 2 supplement chips and ancient hero boots,
for some more powerful and expensive gears one can try casting stone on costume enchant and Temportal STR Manteau

weapon can choose OS weapong Axe

Got the OS Axe Weapon, but have no idea about most of the other recommendations.

I would say valkyrie hammer+shield is better than OS Axe.

I think that is you dont have the zeny to get the Valky Hammer, this is the best option, plus its possible that in the future we get the enchantments for this weapons.

No yet, we just received the 185 Lvl patch, so may be a while until we get 4th jobs.
