iRO Transcendence Hardware Maintenance

February 3rd, 12:00PM - 6:00PM PST
 

Hello, we are aware this week would usually be an update maintenance but we are going to delay this maintenance to 2/8. This is because we want to perform more testing and localization with the upcoming  Sweets Event as to prevent issues that occurred during the last bi-weekly update.

  Scaraba Dungeon Frenzy Fields are now open!
  • Located on the way to El Dicastes, equip your Ring of Wise King to face the Champion monsters here!

  "Wandering Merchants" Event continues!
  • Towns: Izlude, Hugel, Alberta, Payon, Comodo, Geffen, Rachel, Veins
  • Stock (Limited Quantities): Strawberries, Witch Starsands, Blue Herbs, Stems
  • Restock Periods: NPCs restock daily at a different offset hour for each NPC. This is to ensure that players from all time zones have a chance to purchase these items.

  Our Homeward Bound Event has been extended (Ending date is to be determined)!
  • Enjoy a bonus +50% EXP and +25% Drops as you stay indoors and keep safe!
• 
  Guild vs Guild wars will begin in the War of Emperium!
  • Think your guild has what it takes to be the best in PvP? Prepare yourself as you fight with your guild for ownership of guild castles and daily treasures!

Your wording is confusing. So there is a maintenance, but it will be a hardware maintenance instead of an event maintenance?

When are we going to get content update like New Frenzy Fields, New Classes, 3rd Jobs etc. Getting Events every month is not really content you know.

Today's maintenance was simply a hardware maintenance, hence why servers were down for a shorter while than usual. It mostly consists of IT tasks required to continue smooth operation of the game, and not actual updates to the content in the game. Update maintenance is scheduled for next week on the 8th.

When are we going to get content update like New Frenzy Fields, New Classes, 3rd Jobs etc. Getting Events every month is not really content you know. 

 

That is the term that the team uses when they make updates to the game, including adding new items, cycling events in/out, etc. The schedule listed is usually hardware maintenance one week, update maintenance the following week, hardware maintenance following that week, etc. Therefore, the intention of the post was to alert players that today's maintenance is only hardware maintenance.

CM Garnet was trying to follow up on your questions in the previous thread (seen below). This thread is going to be locked soon with the upcoming patch notes for tomorrow's maintenance, so please post your response to them in the new thread when it's up... However, I already explained to her what #1 was about, so you don't necessarily have to answer that one. Thanks!
