I have been going a semi spellfist/agi build, and using the wind summon is a clear winner. Huge flee bonus with a sprinkle of matk and faster casts on some spells. 

 

Anyways, the rough wind requirement was way harsher than I imagined. Meanwhile sleepers near Juno pop out Great Nature all over the place.

 

In Pront, usually has 1 or 2 people tops selling them anywhere from 120k-200k. 

Drop rate is pretty abysmal from mobs with a 1% in the overworld.

Wind of Verdur (the sub component to combine) isnt a great drop either from Grand Peco.

The conversion for 12 Nature to 1 Wind has a long dialogue, and 12 nature weighs a ton in mass.

 

Am I missing a better way to acquire these darn things that anyone knows by chance? Or am I stuck either farming sleepers and going through a tedius conversion process, farming a ton of Grand Pecos for minimal gains, or just straight up paying up the wazoo?

Earn Eden Merit Badges from quest boards or exchange from Giant Faceworm skin

And then exchange them into KVM/Bravery/Valor badges using Eden Merit Badger

Teleport to Battleground and trade with the manager for Rough Wind (Sorcerer category)

Thanks for the great tip. This makes them roughly 80k per wind. That is at least way better than 150k!

It's not entirely useful to you, but Amicitia 2 (blvl 230+) is a zone where people are so concerned by experience and other drops (Ether Dust) that they don't pick up rough wind drops, which drop in fairly plentiful quantities. 

If you're in a guild or are friends with players at that level, you could ask them to pick up rough winds on your behalf while they're farming there.
