First, i'd like to apologize if this is not the right subforum or if this was answered already.

So yesterday I had this weird issue where my pet smokie was following me with different characters despite being on it's egg on my main character, I thought nothing of it and moved on as if it was a quirky visual bug. However today when I tried to hatch it I got disconnected, the egg disappeared upon re-connecting and then I had a stutter where the menu of the cute pet showed up again with the smokie egg visible as if it was broken. This is the first time I've ever had something like this happen and I would like to know if there's a way to fix/recover my smokie from this odd situation.

Yeah, pets be glitchin these past few weeks/months. I had the same experience as you with my Doram's Savage Babe. It starts with unable to open Pet Window, and then after I log out, my piggy is following my other characters, even the one who has pet. When I log back into my main, she then has TWO piggies.

 

Since there seems to be nothing done about this, my advice:

Keep your pet in (as Egg) during weekends when the server is crowded. Just take off pet accessory (for extra caution) and return to egg.

Definitely do NOT go to Prontera with pet. Don't leave your character there if they have pets.

If you are in Prontera or have pet bug, find another town or field to relog at (to make sure your pet is fine).

 

Some people said they lost their pets. It's really sad. So be careful.

 

Hoping your little Smokie is fine (like maybe the bug fixed itself).

If not, you'll need to submit a ticket at [WarpPortal Support], but you'd need a separate account for that.

I'm having this exact same problem with my Incubus,

Today I logged in and since the Sonic Event started, I noticed the same exact glitch you mention

In my case, for a brief time, 2 Incubus were following me, as if I had 2 pets, then, my merchant character, had an Incubus too, but my Incubus was on my Ranger at that point.

Then, I did a quick run of the instance "Sarah's Memory", and after leaving, my Incubus egg was not on my inventory anymore and not visible on my screen.

I was able to see the egg using a "Pet Incubator" item, and it was "broken"

I sent a ticket already today, and got an answer while I was writing this post, 

I answered already and I'm waiting for my Incubus to be back.

Ah man... I hope you guys really get your pets back.

I lost 2 Incubus eggs. I Sent a ticket on January 6, 2024 and the last thing they said about it was "we will try to escalate this to our specialist team as soon as possible...." Still nothing up to now.
