How does one change job to 4th class? I’ve see the guide on irowiki, but a Valkyrie keeps teleporting me away…

Everywhere I can find and read says be 200/70…

I would like an official link that states “characters MUST have transcended to change to 4th job”…

LOL I made most of my 3rd job characters 10 years ago. I noticed when I made a new character I had to transcend to change to 3rd, is that the normal now?

let us know what class you are trying to change then we can tell you where to start and you can go from there

My AB. Went to Prontera Church to talk to Priest Jergus as per irowiki. As soon as I click on him [?] interrupts and says “Hey, stop wasting your time there and talk to me.”
Instantly warped to the opposite corner of Prontera where I talk to the Valkyrie and offers to transcend my character…

i see. ive never encountered nor read about this case before. i would also like to know what is wrong. I hope there's someone here who can help you with this

I submitted a ticket as well and am waiting on a response…if the game forces one to rebirth at 99 prior to changing to 3rd job and that’s the only path to 4th…it’s severely limiting for returning players like myself who made these 3rd class chars 10+ years ago in a rush to play them rather than rebirthing first…

I certainly would not entertain getting to 200/70 just to rebirth and do it all again. I think it’s also unfair if the answer is to delete the old character and start over…
I also have a 185 Geneticist / 164 GX / 163 RK / 148 Warlock / 160 Sorc that I’m positive IF I got to 200/70 may have the same issue…just the thought already kills my motivation to continue playing when I found it fun and addicting again when I came back recently.

no its instant trans process, not leveling back from 1 again (for non trans 3rd, this feature was added on 4th job update)

The NPC specifically tells me it will make me 1st Job instantly…because it says that to me I am legit afraid to try it until I get a response from my ticket.

Can’t seem to insert screen shot. Word for word the NPC says: “After you Transcend, I can also help you level and change to 1st job right away.”

I yolo’d it you’re right! Buy was it a blood pressure raiser!
