Mechanic > Meister has 2 builds to focus on: Arm Cannon [AC] and Axe Tornado [AT]. However, (unless something has changed) I think Arm Cannon is still the only real viable endgame build as Axe Tornado struggles to keep up with damage numbers needed in 200+ areas. I used Axe Tornado up until 170 when I could create the Biolabs headgear and switched to Arm Cannon to my (currently) 230 Meister. Strangely, perhaps due to rarity or maybe ease to bot/macro with lol, AT endgame gear is more expensive than AC. Either way, I can list out my stats/gear/thoughts to help but note that everything is hugely dependent on your budget and I won't list anything crazy like MVP Cards or 10b+ super gear.
-----
AXE TORNADO
I found this easier to start with but was lucky enough to be given some solid gear so experiences may differ. It's nice in mobby maps like Gramps to just warp > hit one key (two if Greed) > repeat and stats are built for survivability due to VIT being a key factor. The biggest issue is the hard plateau you hit in 160+ in terms of damage output but maybe I didn't have enough great gear in the end.
STATS: 125 STR, 125 VIT, 80-100 DEX, 60+ AGI, rest as needed.
ENDGAME GEAR:
Upper Headgear -- Mountain Helm (more damage from other options but we want that CD) / Work Cap (good way to get DEF pene) [Bungisngis Card for HP, Purple Ferus for damage]
Middle Headgear -- Ear of Spirit (125 STR+VIT) / Crow Tengu Mask [1] (the new one, 120 STR) / Star Eyepatch (needs MVP Orc Hero Card and 130 VIT for damage) [Firm Air Deleter Card for HP]
Lower Headgear -- Mysterious Red Plate / Grey Wolf Cub in Mouth / Tyrant of Earth or Old Camo Scarf
Body -- Flexible options here but I prefer Evil Dragon Armor early on [Evil Druid or Restless Dead Card otherwise] for survivability or you can go straight for one of the many ATK-focused armors for damage, such as Abyss Lake Roaring Dragon Armor or Screaming Ghost Party... [can switch to Mistress of Shelter Card for combo at 200+]
Weapon -- Illusion War Axe [2x True Howard Alt-Eisen Cards and/or Polluted Wander Man or White Knight+Khalitz Knight combo] / Tornado Axe (until you can use Illusion War Axe)
Shield -- Alice Body Pillow (BiS but most expensive and even more pricey to refine/grade) / God-devouring Demonic Shield [Mysteltainn Card] / Excelion Shield / Feather Shield [Khalitzburg Knight Card (especially with White Knight Card) but this can be flexible)]
Garment -- Magma Manteau [Rockridge Cramp Card (or Happiness Giver Card at 200+)] / Royal Payon/Prontera Cape (BiS for most physical classes but expensive to refine/grade and more beneficial to ranged/crit classes)
Shoes -- Ancient Mechanic Greaves (BiS but most expensive and even more pricey to Grade) / Illusion Military Boots / Scrap Remodel Shoes or -LT version (interesting option with noted Accessories)
Accessories -- 2x Military Glove / 2x Arquien's Necklace / Document Merchant / 2x Power Machine Arm (Base 200 needed) [Gold Scaraba Card, or specialized race type cards as needed] / Amulet of Asteria (Right Slot Only) / Overdrive Rampage (Base 200 needed, Left Slot only)
Shadow Gear -- Physical Power Weapon+Shield & Full Power Armor+Shoes & Full Penetration Shadow Earring+Pendant (BiS but pricier, especially the full pene accessories) / Tornado Shadow Armor+Shield+Shoes (can be budget option depending on market supply and can be used to help reach 100% DEF penetration with Mechanic Shadow Weapon)
Costume Enchant -- Mechanic Stone [Garment] + Mastersmith Stones [Up, Mid, Low] (there are better random combos for min-maxing but probably a lot more expensive)
-----
ARM CANNON
Pretty much the endgame for Meister, especially with the Dual Cannon skill doubling AC damage. I know with my build I hit over 10m using Dual Cannon which covers all PvM content right now (except Biosphere). You'll just need to switch over to Ranged Physical if you were melee or AT before but stat resets are cheap to do. AC also ignores flee and treats DEF differently, allowing for a different kind of flexibility in gear and stats. Since AC benefits from STR, you could technically run a 1 DEX build as long as you have full VCT reduction!
STATS: I went 120 STR, 1 or 120 DEX (depending on your need for VCT), 100-120 INT, 100 VIT, 100+ AGI, 1 or 120 LUK (depending on DEX). [[I was using Crow Tengu/Seraphim for mid but could go 125 LUK instead for Little Garden/Booster Shoes or 120 AGI for Imperial Feather if easier to share gear with other characters, just less optimized]]
Upper Headgear -- Old Driver Band (Yellow) with Master Archer Lv.5 enchant [Purple Ferus Card]
Middle Headgear -- Crow Tengu Mask [1] (the new one, 120 STR) [status-preventing cards like Marduk as needed / Denied Poring Card for HP] / Seraphim Coronet (120 INT) / Ancient Morroc Noble Jewelry [needs different stat layout, Marduk or Pharaoh Card] / Ears of Spirit (125 STR+VIT)
Lower Headgear -- Grey Wolf Cub in Mouth / Tyrant of Earth or Old Camo Scarf / Portable Support System
Body -- Imp Powered Suit (can use Succubus Pet or Shield Spell for leech) / Screaming Ghost Party / Abyss Lake Roaring Dragon Armor [Restless Dead Card or Dame of Sentinel Card for combo at 200+]
Weapon -- Scythe of Ice Flame (debatably BiS for infinite leech but not for damage) / +12 Dragon Slayer Longsword / Awakened Meteor Striker (or -LT version) [Rock Step Card or PWM / WK for Shield combo]
Shield -- Alice Body Pillow (BiS but most expensive and even more pricey to Grade) [Alice Card] / God-devouring Demonic Shield / Excelion Shield / Feather Shield [Khalitzburg Knight Card (especially with White Knight Card)]
Garment -- Powered Wing [no card slot] / Royal Payon Cape (BiS for ranged classes but expensive to refine/grade) [Empathizer Card for combo at 200+]
Shoes -- Ancient Mechanic Greaves (BiS but most expensive and even more pricey to Grade) / Starry Sky Twin Prime (still pricey/hard to get to +14) / Scrap Remodel Shoes or -LT version (interesting option with noted Accessories) / Silent Stylish Shoes / Peeptoe Sandals [Blut Hase/Odorico Card or maybe Vicious Cookie if on budget for damage, Firelock Soldier for HP] / Can also go +12 Booster Shoes with right stats
Accessories -- 2x Supplemental Chip / Dimensional Linkage Stone (Right Slot Only) + Supp. Chip / Record of Merchant Vol. 1 + 2 / Cannon Converter or Pure Heart (with Scrap Remodel Shoes) / Document Merchant (Right Slot Only) / Amulet of Asteria (Right Slot Only) / Overdrive Rampage (Base 200 needed, Left Slot only) [Gold Scaraba Card, or specialized race type cards as needed]
Shadow Gear -- Physical Power Weapon+Shield & Full Power Armor+Shoes & Focusing Shadow Earring+Pendant (BiS but pricier) / Arm Shadow Weapon+Earring+Pendant (can be budget option depending on market supply)
Costume Enchant -- Mechanic Stone II [Garment] + Mastersmith Stones [Up, Mid, Low] (there are better random combos for min-maxing but probably a lot more expensive)

Hope this helps you or any new Mechs out there!

Hey Jefuu,
Just wanted to thank you for this post. I've build my mechanic out exactly as you suggested and it's powerful. Just grinding my ass off to try to make the Biolab 5 headgear rn haha.
Appreciate the in-depth guide

Weapon -- Illusion War Axe [2x True Howard Alt-Eisen Cards, but haven't tested compared to using Polluted Wander Man or White Knight+Khalitz Knight combo for comparison]

Hi there, I just became a mechanic and I wanted to ask which skills I should priotize and avoid if I'm going for an Axe Tornado build at fist before going Arm Cannon in the future? Here is a skill builder I used to plan my skill set:
https://skillsim.iro...2fgDhdjNb4bncH1
Also I've been doing an AGI build while I was a Mastersmith so I'm guessing I'll need to reset my stats? Here are my current stats just to show you:
STR - 70+21
AGI - 95+14
VIT - 50+12
INT - 10+12
DEX - 41+12
LUK - 1+16

Having trouble loading that link for some reason but I will just share what I had for skills by the time I hit 200. You will have enough points to maximize AT+AC, so no worries there, just make sure you grab all the skills that boost AT if you are getting those armors (Mountain Helm, Illusion Military Boots+Gloves, Magma Manteau, etc.) to do enough damage with AT. Then you can work on the Madosuit Skill Tree side I did reset my skills though when I moved to AC so I could get a few more Mado skills for QoL.
**HAVING SCREENSHOT ISSUES SORRY**
- Basically, with the recommended AT gears, you'll get: Axe Tornado 5, Lava Flow 5, Axe Boomerang 5, both FAW Skills 5, Axe Mastery 10, (and Fire Earth Research if you want). That will set you up until 170. If you don't have the rec'd gear, you could consider getting Madosuit earlier for some of the QoL bonuses it adds (like movement speed, etc.)?
Since resetting stats is cheap, I'd recommend it yeah. If you're 99 or 100 right now, something like 90 STR+90 VIT+ 60ish DEX would be a good start. Then you'll want to get STR+VIT to 125 for the Ears of Spirit bonuses + AT damage boost. Unfortunately, you'll stat reset again when switching to AC haha.

Hmm... the link works find for me, but oh well your tips is more than enough. I went with all the buffing skills, ignoring all of the crafting skills and not getting the cart ram skill. For equipments, currently I have a +7 Two-Handed Crimson Axe, the Morrigane Set, and Bone Plate.
So ok for now when it comes to the mechanic skills I'll first try to get everything related to the Axe Tornado. If I can get all the skills for AT and AC, does that mean I don't have to ignore Axe Boomerang? I'm not sure how good of a skill that is but I always thought that it's good to have options. Oh and 1 last question for now, say I got all the AT skills and skills to buff the damage from Axes. Would it be ok for me to get the Madogear by then? I ask because I'm not sure if I can use my axe skill while equipping the Madogear. Yeah it's a noob question but this is my 1st real attempt in becoming a Mechanic.
Also what about other skills like Fire Earth Research, FAW Magic Decoy, Stealth Barrier and such. Are any of them good to get besides AT and AC?

Yeah, the buffing skills are the only worthwhile things in BS/MS tree so all good there. It sounds like you're low budget build right now so I would focus on getting this free armor set from the first Main Questline https://irowiki.org/...e_Royal_Banquet quests! You'll get the Noblesse Tornado Armor and set: https://irowiki.org/...lesse_Equipment , and there more free sets that will buff AT every 20 levels or so (so just keep doing the Main Quests and they'll unlock as you go). You will still very much want an Illusion Waraxe as soon as you hit b120 though.
As for skills, if you are getting the expensive best AT gear, you'll need AB for buffs. If you are not getting it, it's an okay skill but I didn't really use it when leveling much. Something to note, while I said you can get both skill sets by j70, you will miss out on some QoL skills so just be aware of that. You do get a free stat/skill reset from Eden and sometimes during Xmas too.
Honestly, if you're f2p/low budget, I would just get Axe Tornado+Axe Mastery+Axe Boomerang (if you really want it) and pass on the other skills I mentioned... they only help you if you have the Mountain Helm/Military/Magma set I mentioned. From there, jump into Madogear skills so you can get those speed/movement improvements. No worries: Axe Tornado still works in Madogear! You can use all skills and stuff in Madogear suits -- I think only in the old days were there limitations on this.

Alrighty, thanks so much for all the tips. I'll plan out my skills with the skill builder and will share when I think it's good to go (might have to type everything here if the link isn't working here). Oh and one last thing, I forgot to mention but I do have a Wicked Axe which I picked up after seeing someone dropping free stuff on the ground LOL!! Also if in case I reach my limit on posting replies to the forums do you mind if I send you a PM if ever I have more questions?
Update: Ok after playing around with the skill builder for a bit, here are the skills I got for the Mechanic. Please let me know if I should make any changes whatso ever. I decided to ignore Axe Boomerang and Power Swing in favor of focusing on the Madogear skills after I max Axe Tornado and Axe Mastery (I think AT and Cart Revo will be enough to carry me until I can get my Madogear up and running):
Mado Gear License (lvl 5), Repair (lvl 5), Knuckle Boost (lvl 4), Vulcan Arm (lvl 3), Flame Launcher (lvl 3), Ice Launcher (lvl 3), Arm Cannon (lvl 3), Acceleration (lvl 3), Hover, Front Slide, Back Slide, Full Throttle (lvl 5), Axe Mastery (lvl 10), and Axe Tornado (lvl 5).

Sounds good! We can try the link again next time for sure.
Wicked Axe from the new dungeon? Neat! It's b220+ though and if you move to AC build, it won't have much use haha. Sounds good if you stick with AT though?
I don't think there is a forum reply limit, but you can PM me too if preferred! I like to keep information public so others can see it in the future as well but don't mind either way. If you use Discord, feel free to send your username since that's easier to chat.

I think I have a limit cause I'm still new here and I don't have alot of karma points. I was stopped after a while in a previous forum. Anyways just in case you didn't see my update to my previous message since I didn't think you would reply so quickly LOL, I'll just post it here.

For merchant/blacksmith skills i would say you can remove mammonite and get upgrade weapon instead.
FAW skills are pretty bad, i would ignore it and you need remodel mainframe 4 to prevent overheat debuff, also neutral barrier lvl 3 is a requirement for a certain gear, 3rd job lvl goes to 70 you should use the divine-pride skillsim for now irowiki one needs couple updates divine-pride.net Skilltree - Skilltree
P.S.: Never go Full Throttle that skill has 50 minute cooldown.

As vividort said, FAW are a waste UNLESS you plan to get the BiS AT gear and then you'll want both + Lava Flow at max, so keep that in mind. Remodel+Cooldown will be wants due to the annoying (but easy enough to mitigate) "Overheat" mechanic with Madosuits. And never get Full Throttle on any character imo
That Skilltree is also outdated as Arm Canon is 5 skillpoints (not 3), so use his link to the D-P skilltree link to plan more accurately!

Ah I see, ok then. Yeah I should get rid of Mammonite since I actually never really use it and only got cause I thought about getting Cart Ram. Guess that's something else for me to change if I do the reset. Ok so after using the skill tree from vividort, here is my updated skill list for the mechanic (fyi I used the extra free skill points from the Merchant (47/49) and Smith (61/69) to fill most of the other skills, also instead of getting Upgrade weapon I went for mechanic skills instead):
Mado Gear License (lvl 5), Repair (lvl 5), Knuckle Boost (lvl 5), Vulcan Arm (lvl 3), Flame Launcher (lvl 3), Ice Launcher (lvl 3), Arm Cannon (lvl 5), Acceleration (lvl 3), Hover, Front Slide, Back Slide, Axe Mastery (lvl 10), and Axe Tornado (lvl 5), Fire Earth Research (lvl 5), Remodel Mainframe (lvl 4), Elemental shift (lvl 4), Infared Scan, Analyze (lvl 3), Suicidal Destruction (lvl 2), Cooldown, Magnectic Field (lvl 3), Neutral Barrier (lvl 3), and Stealth Field (lvl 3)
Here's a link for imgur (that hopefully works) that will show what I did:

Please let know if this better. Thanks again for all the tips.
Also one last quick question, I'm currently farming for Zenny so I'm not using my skill or stat points since I'm going to reset anyways. I wanted to ask if I should use my points BEFORE doing the rest or it's ok for me to just go and reset even with my leftover points? I ask because I don't want to risk loosing any points.

Ah I see, ok then. Yeah I should get rid of Mammonite since I actually never really use it and only got cause I thought about getting Cart Ram. Guess that's something else for me to change if I do the reset. eerrm... to be able to put points on a class you need to use up all points of the previous one 1st, so you wouldnt be able to put smith points on the mechanic skill tree build looks better, just one last thing i forgot mentioning is that pile bunker is also a requirement for this armor divine-pride.net Item - Imp Powered Suit [1], if you ever plan on going for Arm Cannon build in the future. Try to think on the order of skills before resetting or test them up before resetting so you have an idea on what to pick 1st afterwards, using the points or not wont affect the amount of points after you reset.

Ah I see, ok I'll need to rethink my skills then. Ok I updated the the skill tree, here's the link. I decided to give up on Stealth Field. Let me know what you think. Once I'm 100% sure that it's all good then I'll go ahead and do the reset.

Yeah, this is looking much better and ready for BiS gear if/when you can afford them as an AC Mech/Meister

Alright, all done I did the free stat and skill reset. Now my skills from Merchant and Smith are all good, and now I can work on being a Mechanic. Also my stats are now STR (90+12), AGI (20+9), VIT (85+6), INT (20+6), DEX (60+2), LUK (1+11). Hope my stats looks good, I focused on STR, VIT, and DEX, but I didn't want to forget my AGI and INT.
Again, thanks so much for all the tips.

Upper Headgear -- Mountain Helm [Bungisngis Card for HP, Purple Ferus for damage]
Middle Headgear -- Ear of Spirit / Crow Tengu Mask [1] (the new one, 120 STR) / Star Eyepatch [Best with Orc Hero Card for damage (MVP though), Firm Air Deleter Card for HP]
Lower Headgear -- Mysterious Red Plate / Tyrant of Earth or Old Camo Scarf
Body -- Flexible options here but I prefer Evil Dragon Armor [Marc Card for Turtle Dungeon, Restless Dead Card otherwise] for survivability or one of the many ATK-focused armors for damage, such as Abyss Lake Roaring Armor or Screaming Ghost Party... can switch to Mistress of Shelter Card for combo at 200+
Weapon -- Illusion War Axe [2x True Howard Alt-Eisen Cards, but haven't tested compared to using Polluted Wander Man or White Knight+Khalitz Knight combo for comparison]
Shield -- God-devouring Demonic Shield / Excelion Shield / Feather Shield [Khalitzburg Knight Card (especially with White Knight Card) but this can be flexible)]
Garment -- Magma Manteau [Rockridge Cramp Card (or Happiness Giver Card at 200+)]
Shoes -- Illusion Military Boots
Accessories -- 2x Military Glove [Gold Scaraba Card, or specialized race type cards as needed]
Shadow Gear -- Tornado Shadow Armor+Shield+Shoes
Costume Enchant -- Mechanic Stone [Garment] + Mastersmith Stones [Up, Mid, Low] (there might be better random combos for min-maxing but probably a lot more expensive)

ARM CANNON
Pretty much the endgame for Meister, especially with the Dual Cannon skill doubling AC damage. I know with my build I hit over 10m using Dual Cannon which covers all PvM content right now. You'll just need to switch over to Ranged Physical if you were melee or AT before but stat resets are cheap to do.
STATS: I went 125 DEX, 120 STR, 120 INT, 80+ VIT, 60+ AGI, rest as needed (I was using Seraphim Coronet for mid but could go 125 LUK instead for Little Garden or 120 AGI for Imperial Feather if easier to share gear with other characters).
Upper Headgear -- Old Driver Band (Yellow) with Master Archer Lv.5 enchant [Purple Ferus Card]
Middle Headgear -- Crow Tengu Mask [1] (the new one, 120 STR) / Seraphim Coronet (120 INT) / Imperial Feather (120 AGI) / Little Garden (125 LUK)
Lower Headgear -- Tyrant of Earth or Old Camo Scarf / Portable Support System
Body -- Imp Powered Suit (can use Succubus Pet or Malicious Shadow Set for leech)
Weapon -- BiS would be Scythe of Ice Flame but that's a bit lux, so Awakened Meteor Striker should be a solid option still [Rock Step Card or PWM / WK for Shield combo]
Shield -- God-devouring Demonic Shield / Excelion Shield / Feather Shield [Khalitzburg Knight Card (especially with White Knight Card)]
Garment -- Powered Wing
Shoes -- Ancient Mechanic Greaves (BiS but most expensive and even more pricey to Grade) / Starry Sky Twin Prime (still pricey/hard to get to +14) / Silent Stylish Shoes / Peeptoe Sandals [Blut Hase Card or maybe Vicious Cookie if on budget] ... Can also go +12 Booster Shoes with right stats
Accessories -- 2x Supplemental Chip OR Dimensional Linkage Stone + Supp. Chip / Record of Merchant Vol. 1 + 2 (I believe this is cheaper now due to Kachua Coupons!) [Gold Scaraba Card, or specialized race type cards as needed]
Shadow Gear -- Arm Shadow Weapon+Earring+Pendant
Costume Enchant -- Mechanic Stone II [Garment] + Mastersmith Stones [Up, Mid, Low] (there might be better random combos for min-maxing but probably a lot more expensive)

Hope this helps you or any new Mechs out there!
Should I wait until I become a Meister before switching to the Arm Cannon build or is there a specific level I should aim for?

At level 170, the Biolab Headgear that really boosts AC becomes available to craft, so that's when I'd recommend changing! It's account bound so you need to make it yourself, but all the mats are buyable from other players.

Here's a quick question for the Madogear, is it possible to change the colors? If it is, do I need a cash shop item in order to do that?

Yeah, check your other thread where I explain it in more detail

Thanks a bunch for answering. One last question for now about the Madogear. I know in order to use certain skills I need certain ammunition right? Do those ammunition need to be on my inventory or does it count if it's in the cart as well? I know it's highly unlikely that the cart will count, but I just wanted to be sure.

Cannon balls you need to equip, everything else needs to be on your inventory, not cart.
