hi everyone, havent played ragnarok in a long time and its actually my first time in IRO. i decided to make an autocast SC/AB and ive recently just become a shadow chaser and reached lvl 100. I however have no idea what gear i should be using at my current level and what i should be aiming for in the future. I would very much love some advice, please and thank you!

well you can aim for Celine combo or Elemental combo (Elemental ring , elemental boots and elemental sword) and for shield can you aim for Valkyrja with ogretooth if you are not rich (or +9/+12 mad bunny or bloody knight) and upper robo eye and lower CD in mounth, but dependes on how rich you are to afford or if you are going to pay or free to play.

Aim for around 190 aspd/193 with buffs.

for weapons: early on use an elemental sword then try to get a Magic Sword/Madogum (for Psychic Wave auto spell, once its awakened it adds Meteor storm at +7 at Level 120),

copy Lord of Vermillion, and get some rings of Pazuzu to increase LoV damage.

for garments: try getting a Reforming Magic Cloak for additional auto spells, or get the Mysterious wing to also add max perfect dodge at 600 total base stats (depends on your base stat build) which helps in mobbing.

for armor: go for Illusion Armor Type B if F2P, or get Armor of White Thread at early levels, or the Best in Slot (for now) Screaming Ghost Party.

for shoes: go for hero boots line to be upgraded if you're using Magic Sword/Madogum, late game go for Moaning of Evil Spirits, Midgard Knight shoes or Mythical Moonlight paw.

for headgears: try finding something that gives Matk bonuses or additional autocasts.

for mid and low headgears: go Mob Scarf set or if you have 125 dex go with Floating ball alongside CD in mouth or charm of anywhere for From the Abyss autocasts.

for shadow gear: get a shadowspell set + Shadow Chaser Shield which gives you Psychic Wave for autospells, mix in the Wizard shadow armor and boots to further boost LoV damage.

for costume stones: do what you like, since there isn't a class stone set focusing on increasing shadowspell for now (its either knife melee or bow).

my go to is High Wiz II stone upper for 20% Meteor storm damage, High Wiz Stone Mid for additional 20% Meteor storm damage, Greed stone or Kyrie Eleison for low and aspd stone and aspd dual stone for garment. you could also opt for magic power stone set.

Is there something else that could be usefull other than LoV, is there a 3rd Job class that could be used, like jack frost or Chain lightning??

Someone would like to use Meteor Storm. But I feel like LOV damage is much higher with Pazuzu. The current game version is not allowing 3rd class skills I think.

Oh I see, the WIKI says shadow speel can copy 3rd class spells, meteor storm is still good

Is there any reason Meteor Storm is in used?

 

I think its damage is much lower than LoV, isn't it?

MS damage is much lower... I got it as it keeps on going after being cast which stuns (stops) monsters coming, where as LoV once its cast its one and done and needs another cast to get damage going again. I was hoping for chain lightning or jack frost tho

how viable are autocast chasers on endgame content?like the basic endgame stuff and not the high end (i dnt have the gears and budget). Will I be able to farm decently?

The EQP in the list is not too bad. 

 

Screaming costs the most, but others are OK. 

 

however, Memory Record with Gertie's could cost tons of money, it is random enchantment causing 300m 1 times I think.
