I am doing MVP trade with a someone, she emailed support, and have ticket sent thought my support ticket. now this GM Aunoe is asking for information on account. 

 

yes I have given information about account, except my password.

 

I just can't give password when announcement is said never give password.

 

I can't seem to see this is legit, very suspicious if asking for password when they work in the game.

I am posting this for awareness too because if someone fall victim to this again, it will break my heart just let me be the only victim and an idiot for falling for the scam through your support website ticket system or help desk View Tickets - WarpPortal

ok I am hacked through support. this sucks. GM trade too with GM name too in support ticket, the one that answered me last ticket too. which I trust in the end


I want to cry, spent thousands of dollars on game and the very gm in ticket support gets hacked.

where was this ticket? you end up on some fake wp support site or something? something doesn't seem to add up so should probably list what email address you sent it to or what site you were on.

it is site warpportal support, where you can write tickets. I saw my last inquiry 2 years ago and same GM Aunoe who entertained me from my last ticket. Turns out it was imposter but he was replying in the ticketing system. 

 

I never clicked anything I log in using the buy warpportal points in the game where they take you to the site. I went to support site of warpportal.

I don't know how they access, the desk support of warpportal but this is dangerous if not secured.

From what I've heard,  he log into the support website normally/manually and wasn't via any links. And the ticket to verify just appear in his ticket list.  :wacko:

The whole support system is already messed up. Takes specialists team months and months to do one single investigation. Now even the ticket system has been a tool for scammers to scam player. Why would I want to pump more money into this unsafe game?

Am I an idiot for trusting the ticket system through the website? and it is legit support site, with support desk and all messaging me real time on that support site. I never gave in until I saw they threatened me with blocking my account. 

no links, just my own personal warpportal website through the game, and also support ticket that I log on too with GM impostor replying on my tickets.

 

EDIT: the real GM now replying on the same ticket that I talked to the GM imposter, the GM the real one, changed the GM that I was replying to with a name impostor instead of GM Aunoe inside the ticket. For me, this is wild as we are on the same ticket support where it happend. 

 

EDIT: Would love to know how to post picture in this forum

Damn, if that's the case that's -_-ed up that they are in the ticket system like that,

I've got like 5 open tickets, some are like 8 months old to get treasure restored and they are still too incompetent to get done.

Another 3 months of back and forth with GV HQ to address this right?. Come on, have a little decency... bunch of amateurs.

I know some vmod its going to delete this, but please know that this level of incompetence should make you guys feel ashamed.

Here: same ticket inside where convo of impostor happening, is now Real GM helping me. I trust my gut that this is real GM, even though mimic as a name is kind of sus and the copy paste info too  <_< but thanks for helping me GM  :wub:  Hopefully is not the scammer anymore because if it is, then I don't know what or how I be able to get over this.

Any reply from official staff is 'Employee post'. If there is nothing, it's fake.

I want to play but might take days to restore items? may be a week or sadly months, or even years, or worst case scenario is that it was not real GM again. I am so sad, humiliated and an idiot.

 

Heavens are fair though mysterious in their inner workings. I probably spend money too much in this game. is telling me to quit. I don't know how to even come back from this because even crawling wont be enough if you have high level characters.

@Mark0707, thank you for sharing all this information/detail with us, dont be to sad, your gears will be returned soon, and the GM's should compensate you for an issue that arises out of there own ticketing system, this is clearly an internal issue.

So you were contacted first and it was under the game Requiem? These should have been massive red flags: being messaged initially and it isn't even the right game.

 

I'm guessing you were given a ticket ID to 'reference' to for your own ticket. I would bet that if you create a ticket under Requiem and use the look up ticket ID search function, anyone can reply to any ticket so long as they have the full ticket ID. Could be a loophole in the ticket system under Requiem specifically.

 

So are these screenshots of two different tickets or what?

Same for me. When trading item I was asking for a verification ticket. After I sent to scammer by mail he sent me back a ticket in ticket system.

 

GM xxx ask you confirm the trade.

 

I didn't reply anything and after a while a real GM come in and tell me that one is fake GM. 

 

I guess ticket system already been hacked, security of the game is broken.

just one ticket all the screenshot. GM replying on that ticket where I talked to the impostor GM. I know requiem is a game in warpportal, I assumed GM lazy and just replying on that ticket or forgot to change. but still it was in support ticket so didnt think much. The real GM that I talked to Changed it to ragnarok online.

 

I was contacted first in the ticket system. When I log in the game, selling baphomet card, we agreed to trade but scammer told me to do GM trade and should wait for me to be contacted first through support. then after a while scammer told me in game that I should look at support website as GM will me doing the trade.

I log in the site where support ticket was though ingame shop. took me there. then log in the support. Lo and behold there was GM(imposter) with a new ticket waiting for my reply. I did not contact or made ticket. the GM imposter made one for GM MVP trade.

 

What's up with this?
