When we received Eden Para Market update it was the first version where the NPC sell outdated items and hardly have enough stock to support our server size.

 

When we received Green Aura update we did not get any items that were supposed to come with it, nor the mysterious combination that is meant to add value to everything MVP hunting related.

 

When we received 4th job update it was the oldest version that no other server received because studio knew it was poorly received and the skills are hardly usable.

 

 

Today we received Biosphere update and somehow it's also missing half of its content, leaving the Holy, Poison and Soul regions out. Also leaving the accessories out.

 

 

Stop with these incomplete and half assed updates. The management have not shown that they are capable of updating anything that was incomplete.

 

iRO management has shown that once the update is set in place they show 0 effort in getting the content updated.

 

The amount of back and forth jerking just to get something updated when it can be done right the first time is ridiculous.

Seems beyond comprehensible to give us updates that were revised in the future due to bugs/uselessness or whatever just so they can update it again in our server as if it's more than 1 update when they already have the finished product on hand.

It is indeed quite ridiculous to give us old versions of "updated" content...when that content has already been revised multiple times.

Agreed to this. Each update should be implemented based on the latest version it currently has.

 

Implementing new updates while it is based on its old version will only adding more burden to revise them later on.

I've always said this since the 4th classes arrived.

 

- The worst versions of 4th-class skills when kRO and twRO have more balanced and playable version

- Insane EP18 bosses when there is more balanced version

- Abysmal Ether Dust drop rate when it was made better and affordable in kRO and twRO

 

Why? Just why?

Not just half-released or beta versions, but also badly translated.

Older content is easier to read through the dialogue as it's understandable. Not only for understanding plot, but just generally navigating menus for turning items in etc.

The last batches of content, especially Illusion of Abyss Turtle, is so hard to read. It's almost as if it was just put in through Google Translate and then copied and pasted. :(

if they give us full updates.. player will be bored and loose interest later on faster. so they partial it to make players do have something to watch out for thus continues of playing and excitement through out the years to come.

So why didn't they do it with twro, jro or thro.

I will totally agree with this if the one released before on other official servers were as complete as what the OP said when it was first implemented. If not, then I'm fine with the current updates as long as they will fix or update it eventually based on the timeframe done on other servers.

I will totally agree with this if the one released before on other official servers were as complete as what the OP said when it was first implemented. If not, then I'm fine with the current updates as long as they will fix or update it eventually based on the timeframe done on other servers.

 

They are implemented as complete content.

Biosphere was supposed to provide an actually good leveling spot for the 240-250 range, yet what we got is worse than dungeons we had prior to the update. I keep track of exp gain per BM when leveling, so for context:

 

Level 240 Comet Arch Mage with Mental Sensing, VIP + 3x BM, +30% Exp costume, no weekend event

Ice Biosphere: ~5.5b exp/BM

Amicitia2: ~10b exp/BM
 

Meanwhile, over on twRO:

 

Level 242 47.1% -> level 243 13.5%

which is roughly 46.5b exp/BM

but for some reason, everyone seems to be preoccupied with snorting Ether Dust to care about that

Also not only the XP, but the poor drop rate of ether dust, considering that basically all future content needs to be graded. It should be about time to get that drop update to match it with kRO/twRO rates, because yeah, even with the ether drop event it's bad, compared to what's supposed to be.

Well, I only explored there on Day 1 and never came back ever since. Another useless new contents. Monsters tanky af but no exp, no good materials to farm, nothing.

 

 

Also not only the XP, but the poor drop rate of ether dust, considering that basically all future content needs to be graded. It should be about time to get that drop update to match it with kRO/twRO rates, because yeah, even with the ether drop event it's bad, compared to what's supposed to be.

 

I'm not surprised on this never-ending greed from their side. Expecting customers spending hundreds of dollars each month, while most of them are gamba items. Spending $200 (used to) gives like 200-300 ED while crafting grade A literally requires hundreds and if you're not as lucky, 1000+ of those. Same with BSB. They expect us to gamba OCP 300 points each for a chance to get 5 BSBs, while each refine requires 11-22 BSB at 8% success rate.

 

Such a lazy business model. I've almost never ever seen one like this, this is even greedier than the one I've seen created by small developers.

Well, I only explored there on Day 1 and never came back ever since. Another useless new contents. Monsters tanky af but no exp, no good materials to farm, nothing.

 

 

 

I'm not surprised on this never-ending greed from their side. Expecting customers spending hundreds of dollars each month, while most of them are gamba items. Spending $200 (used to) gives like 200-300 ED while crafting grade A literally requires hundreds and if you're not as lucky, 1000+ of those. Same with BSB. They expect us to gamba OCP 300 points each for a chance to get 5 BSBs, while each refine requires 11-22 BSB at 8% success rate.

 

Such a lazy business model. I've almost never ever seen one like this, this is even greedier than the one I've seen created by small developers.

 

To put you in an even better perspective, the newest spend promo items, Memory Records of Nostalgia and Memory Records of Reminiscences, the merchant effects are incomplete. The effects are simply removed because the skills that they are supposed to autocast do not exist.

 

The next update or so they claim is supposed to come with those skills but because they want the money so badly instead of waiting for the next update to come in, they just shipped it while removing the effects.

 

If this is not greed I don't know what is

The Mechanic original effect autocasts Mighty Smash at 20% chance upon casting Power Swing.

The Geneticist original effect autocasts Mayhemic Thorn at 35% chance upon casting Spore Explosion.

What puzzles me is:

- They have limited player pools (compared to other games)

- Many of this are spenders. [I don't believe this group constitutes "small/niche" portion of player base. In fact, in my experience most players I met or talked with (sometimes randomly) are spending cash to a certain degree.)

- They do have contents (that have been implemented in other servers) that may attract current players, both new and old, but decide to give whatever version they want. Look at how useless most of these 4th class skills that we have.

- They give whatever cash shop items they like, even though player pool are quite diverse and play many classes. I personally play some classes who benefit from this too, but at some point it's just monotonic.

- They have (at least some) players who contribute actively, either by giving them ideas for new contents, or reporting bugs or concern that they have with the current game contents. Imagine waiting for player to simulate bugs, giving them details about new contents in other server, etc.

 

 

TLDR, they have quite supportive players (materially) but in return they don't give af. Like why can't this be win-win for both sides? This is an ancient game that, who knows, may die by the time this generation stop playing.

you require at least 1225 Ether dust to go from no Grade to A but thats only for perfect luck and discounting the amount needed to refine. With the amount of gears being released that requires grading the Ether Dust drop update is long overdue.

Looks like rune fragments drop a lot more commonly there too. Maybe CM Poring will see the "concerns"
