DUPED ITEMS W/ OFFLINE VEND

I post this as a warning, with many people being banned lately I wanted to ensure the community knows the art of the possible. This morning I logged onto my character (maintenance was last night) and I had five “Closed Offline Vending” mail. I immediately thought this was odd, and took screenshots and a replay video of the whole thing.
Now, the items I had on my offline vend were 2x Gambler’s Seal, and 1x Auto Spell Shadow Shoes. When I recovered all of the mail (on replay video), my inventory now held 10x Gambler’s Seals and 5x Auto Spell Shadow Shoes. See proof here: https://imgur.com/gallery/IhFgxsF
However, imagine for a second this happened to a bad actor, or i had vended consumable items like BSBs or BBs. I could’ve immediately started spreading these items around and the duped items would spread like wildfire.
Warpportal/Gravity, you need to get your -_- together. Your own game duped my legit items and you’re banning people left and right and not telling them a reason. For all we know, it could be someone who received the same thing I did another maintenance and then spread the items around.

should just hand over publishing rights of this server to gravity now at this point. WP cant handle this game anymore.
worse if it was already.

Thank you for spreading the awareness. Some low lives have been intentionally duping items and getting people banned. Interesting.

2nd time they've duped stuff like this, don't think they ever did anything about it last time either, so grats to everyone who got free stuff

They would probably ban you for accidentally duping even after you reported the incident. That seems like the pattern with these bans lately

a gm told a guildmate of mine to not move the duped items while issue is under investigation.
send a ticket with screenshots as proof.

If my suggestions provide any leads then you guys should really thank the player who even came forward with this findings. Most people would just keep the items and later blame your bugged game if you ever ban them.

UPDATE: GMs fixed my duped items, so I now have the original 2x Gambler’s Seals and 1x Auto Spell Shadow Shoes. I don’t know if this is how people actually dupe items normally, only that in this case it was the offline vend being closed by maintenance that did the duping.
do you remember if your character was inside the event map from noodle event? Maybe they removing the event had something to do with it.

GM should do a query on who was logged in at the posted timeframe on the listed map. Luckily the player in question was at Melangdo when the issue occurred. Someone on this very same map was doing something shady during the time of incident. Thoroughly scan all of their inventories along with accounts associated with their IP. I’m most certain you will one of the culprits.

Wow this is such an interesting take. Did we get a glimpse as to how these dupers do their dirty deeds?

My character was exactly where it stood. Not doing the noodle quest. I was simply afk there when the server went offline for maintenance, I had planned to remove my armor card to put back RSX; so was just standing by Richard.
