Hey I'm kind of confused about what to do next after transcending as a mage. I assumed that after transcending and becoming a mage again, I would go to wizard and then high wizard.

 

Only when I try to become a wizard again, It's not giving me the option. Like when I talk to the NPCs there's just no options for it. I thought maybe then that I would just go to high wizard, but the wiki suggests being job lvl 70. And the job lvl is already capped at 50. I'm a little confused and would like to know what I should do, thanks!

High-Mage will change to High-Wiz go back to Juno the place you transcend and speak with the wiz npc there.

Were you trying to talk to the job change NPCs at Geffen? It should be back to where you transcended, the room before you meet the Valkyrie. There's a bunch of class-specific NPCs lined up in the room and you should find the High Wizard guy there. Just run back to Juno and talk to the book (no need to pay again).

The wiki says to be job lvl 70 but it's capped for me at 50, I'm a mage currently. Do I have to be a wizard first? and if so that's my issue.

You know what I think I misunderstood what the job lvl, thanks for letting me know where to go that was a big help
