Anyone else experiencing the same? So the game would work after first login. It would still work when using multiclient. But after some time, the game would no longer permit multiclient. The most noticeable part when this happens is that there are several EAC's and Ragexe's in Task Manager, and I can't close them from there. Elevated taskkill also does not work. If I close my working game and open, it would stop working too. The only solution is to restart the PC.

Greetings, if you are still experiencing issues with Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC), please try the following steps:

For Non-EOS EAC:
1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat.
2. Locate and delete the file EasyAntiCheat.sys
3. Run the game autopatcher again.

For EOS EAC:
1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EOS\.
2. Locate and delete the file EasyAntiCheat_EOS.sys.
3. Run the game autopatcher again.

Let us know if the issue persists by submitting a ticket on our website so our specialist team can look further into your problem.

Thanks. It did not work. This only happens when using multiclient for a long time. I'll be fine if I do it for a few minutes. I'm also no longer able now to play another game that has its own cheat engine while RO is running. I can live with that.

EDIT: The issue fixes itself by waiting it out, minutes to hours.

Hi, wanted to bump this topic back to the top. The game is still not runnning for me, I tried the above steps, the EAC launches, but I am in a loop of install, repair and uninstall. Anyone have a solution to this? I am also raising a ticket. Thank you!

A clear solution is to reformat your computer. It does happened to me once, i've tried to fix using compability issue, re-install RO client, reinstall EAC, disable antivirus/firewall and did all the things that i've read from forum, it all doesn't work for me. EAC seems to detect an unknown app that is running in the background and it forces to stop the RO client from running. So the only thing that works is to restart everything because you don't know that you could probably install some app that prevents EAC to run RO client.

Hello, I managed to resolve this issue  :D

Uninstalled the game normaly,
then deleted the folder completely,
then deleted the initial download too (when you go on the website for download the client)

So full redownload and reinstall,
and multi client working perfectly now  :D

Hope it's help ^^

I'll share my experience since i was having the same problem right after opening the launcher.
I ended up trying the solution presented by @CM_Poring and i kinda adjusted it based on previous experiences on RO and other MMO's.

So the idea is to force the game to re-patch the anti-cheat files. In order to do this you go to the folder where you installed your RO files and then to the folder Easy Anti Cheat inside.
Once there delete the 2 .dll files. Once you have done this, head to the Program Manager (Programs and Features) in the Control Panel, scroll down until you find the Ragnarok Online, right click it and choose "repair".
Should take ~20 seconds for i to re-install the corrupted files and you should be able to run the game without any issues.

Hope it helps! Enjoy ;3

Thanks you it works. The EasyAntiCheatGameLauncherMgr::CreateInstance error is gone now.

Edit:

I still cant play. It pops more error and im stuck on loop patch whenever I run the client when it auto-close. 2025-09-02 live client update whenever I run the launcher. I tried to reinstall the game but stil the same.
