Problem: A long time ago before we received the 4th class update on iRO we were allowed to make more than 9 characters. There are multiple people including myself that have an account or two with more than 9 characters, filling up to the 15 character limits of page 1.

After the release of 4th classes we were restricted to only making 9 characters. There was no reason for the change, no patch notes, nothing.


Solution: 
This thread has been created for the purpose of bringing this issue to the staff's attention as it is probably one of the only choices we have left here besides the support ticket. 

The community will speak on their own by posting on this thread in support of this idea and feature to be returned to the players.

Please remove the character slot creation restriction and allow us to create 15 character per account as we did prior to the 4th class update from September 7th 2023.

Yes, agreed with Captain Bear,

Please bring back 15 Character back.

Absolutely agree.
Consider that a lot of gear is account bound limited, also a lot of the rewards from the spend promotions are account bound, like the inventory expansions, the 1 day VIP, same goes for the event rewards, things like the miracle elixir and life potions are account bound.
And keeping VIP on multiple accounts is kinda dumb when we could have one account and spend de KP on other stuff
Also a big QOL improvement for sharing gear among your characters

Oh goodness, I did NOT see that prior to making the thread!

Well, on that end it is good that they saw it. I'll just keep the thread going as a reminder since we hardly ever get updates on any situation.

I deleted 1 character, intending to recreate, but the SLOT is gone... Since it was a Slot that was in use, so just because I deleted 1 character, I lose the slot?

That means you have reached beyond iRO's intended max 9 character slots. For example if you deleted your character which was in 10th slot, it's gone... forever...

I really find fun making alts and leveling them, so this should be a must and a priority.

Yes please, i have my next project in mind, to make a 2 account with all class in it.. 1 male and 1 female accounts.. please bring back the 15 character slots again. ill top up promise il buy vip on both accounts to make. just bring it back.. and also try to get the feature of GGH where in you make new character is it has booster like features the level up boxes.

if 9 slots only available, i cannot make dancer and bard, because 6 basic class plus 6 expanded total of 12 class to make then x2 for alternate job class a total of 24 slots i need i mean 18 slots only i need please make this happen,

hardest part is the naming of character, maybe ill go for monster combination names like
female knight > Pecofina Ferus
male knight > Brewler Detardus
female cruxader > Gryfina Novus
male cruxader > Hillwind Atroce

I had this happen when I returned too thinking I'd have an available slot when deleted a character with the intent of making something new. Now it is just gone. By all accounts I should be given that slot back.

 

So, I did this last year (had 15 slots on my account with characters, but wanted a new character instead of a 2nd AB that was never used) and I put in a ticket about it. The GM helped rectify it by asking me to create a 2nd account, put a Novice on it with no levels or gear, and let them know that account's details/character's name so they could move it to my main account in that lost slot.

 

Hopefully they still offer this service? Explain the situation in full and they might be able to help you like they did me
