okay, so my base lvl is 13, and job lvl is 10. I cant reach the stairs in the pyramid because the enemies are strong and kill me instantly. Is it possible for some people to get online with me and help me get down there. I belive I have to do a quest as well? but i need to get down there first to actually start the quest by talking with someone, is this information correct? if not, how exactly do i become a theif? I am on the Ymir server, i would appreciate any help anyone can offer me, my character name is Gaffgarion

one of my concerns is actually getting their while inside the pyramids...

can anyone assist me with this, like actually log on with me on the ymir server and help get in there, again my lvls are 13 and 10, not 1, sorry typo

Hm, the monsters shouldn't be that bad, unless some idiot summoned stuff in the theif jobchange area.

You go through the pyramid, and run past (or kill) the Farmiliars*, and get to the middle of the map, then go down the stairs. You're now on this little map that should have no monsters in it. You walk down a hall, and then you'll be in a room with stairs in the middle, and a room on either side, still on the same map. You want the room on the side, not the stairs in the middle (which lead to pyramid basement with mummies, minos, and verits).

Are you encountering strong monsters anywhere along that path? It is possible, last I checked, to summon monsters on that map that the theif jobchange is on, though i havn't heard of anyone actually doing that on a premium server in years, and of course the inside of level 1 of pyramid can have monsters summoned on it, but again, that's very unusual. I'd help you, but i won't be home for another 4 hrs or so. I hope by then your problem has been solved, and you'll be happily theifing it up.

The only thing you have to worry about while wandering through the job change pyramid is the Familiars. A novice with a handful of those nipping at his heels never ends well, especially when there's lag.

I dont know why this is impossible, i cant reach it, there are other enemies besides bats in the pyramid that kill me before I reach the stairs, I dont know why i am having so much trouble with this...
