Tempted to shove ads into manga books at the library.

I 3rd this motion. And the advertising on Facebook, I shall be doing that myself actually.

**Side Note Having nothing to do with the topic: O.O wow...in an old Forum I used to be on, we used to do "Page Claims" - and whoever was the first to declare they claimed a new page on a thread...well the point is, that I never once made the first post on a new page... <.< until now, a different forum. Fail me.

I agree. Any sort of site that people go to when they are bored and has something do with cartoons/anime and gaming is a great place to advertise.

lol thats how i learned about this game back in thq days...i saw an ad for dragonica on an anime site and checked it out....and thats how i statred playingPosted Image

Wow didn't know I'd get a response to this. :D Thanks everyone

In a few months from now there will be a Kawaii-Kon, I'll try to find some of the local players. Maybe attempt to make a booth and cosplay like these guys from China. But all in all it would be a great way to advertise the game and populate our server.

this, and facebook.

Also, I'm pretty sure the number of people subscirbed to magazines such as Jump are much less than those who browse the internet without an ad blocker imo.

Where are you getting that statistic from? How are you sure it's accurate? I can easily claim that most people have ad block on and wouldn't be able to view online ads, thus rendering them useless and a waste of money.

Dude i'm just sharing my opinions. Use your time wisely instead of targeting each and every word in a sentence and drawing your own conclusions or proving they are right or not. And by the way its the risk of online advertising (replying to your ad - block thing: its an add-on on mozilla and not all people installs it) But according to me its more worth than on magazines because as i stated, not all people in the world have access to the magazine DS was advertised on - magazines in my country from say America are really expensive because of our currencies. Online advertising can be considered as a free access to people having internet over the world and in this way more efficient.

And I am sure Yurai that in each of your post involving stats (i hope your stats are accurate), you will tell us about your sources right? - I must admit I hate your attitude sometimes -____-
I'm just referring to my experiences and my observations in my posts and being honest

I wonder what type of reply i'll get. Sigh....

You know, everyone of us could try to advertise. If we want the population to increase so bad, why not pitch in the effort? I know I've gotten 10 of my close friends to play, even got a guild started with most of them. That's 10 people, that could invite 5-10 more people, who in turn end up doing the same thing. You could post links on Facebook, or check out other message boards and throw it in your signatures? I mean there is a lot we can do as players to get the word out there too. No need to be hostile when they are doing what they can - I'd like to see the game succeed - and we aren't helping by being un-supportive of what WP is trying do. Just input - imma plaster my Facebook with stuff, and possibly work on local advertising with some friends in the industry.

The net...a beautiful thing. ^.^

I don't think you get the point that I was trying to make with my statistics. Also, blocking ads isn't limited to the ff addon.

So.... i posted this game on 4chan /v/idya section (video game)

Ask what people though of it and most ppl said the exact same things.

XP rate is horrible.
1-2 Class is overpowered (too be honest it really is went from Ninja too Paladin and the OP difference is HUGE even tho ninja's are considered op).

Your grammar confuses me, and I am not sure what opinions of the game have to do with advertising.

Your so superior too me in every which way grammar N@zi.

F@GGOT.

There's no need for name calling. I think he just means that it sounds a little odd on what you mean.

Anyway, its not bad. At least they advertise in Shonen Jump that could encourage people to try the game out. And hopefully they'll expand their advertisements into bigger areas of the internet like Youtube. Beats seeing advertisements about "keeping your man hide (the skin) as smooth as leather."

EDIT:

Just letting you know, grammar does slow people down. I can see what you are saying, but it took twice the effort to figure out what the words are. And again, no name calling.

Thank you for translating, Yurai. I'm still slightly confused, but I feel I have made the correct assumption on the intended meaning of the sentence.
