hey i created this to help or just general talk about Gunslingers. I know it's a forgotten class due to the fact that 3rd jobs have a big advantage, i mean 51 more lvs makes it a bit harder to kill them. lol I Know this for a fact. To this day i still use my Gunslinger to challenge 3rds! some i can kill but when it comes down to it i can't hope to win against those with good def and too high of a lv... Anyway lol i wanna hear what you guys have to say on this matter Valk's Top Slinger~ Asayuki lv99/70 ( you can catch me in pvp!)

I'm still pretty new at this, so I've never done PvP, but despite all the threads saying gunslingers aren't for noobs, I just couldn't resist figuring out how to get to Einbroch so that I could become one. a decent guide would surely be helpful for creating a gunslinger, getting better guns, etc. I'm hoping by the time I get to 99/70 they will finally come out with an extended class for us slingers, or some other way for us to get to base 150.

what type of guns would you prefer, and what do you plan on doing with your Gs(Gunslinger)? Once you decied hit me up and i'll help you out to the best of my knowledge =Pwhat i mean is, would you PvP/WoE,PvM(player Vs monster) or just fun?

Hmm, well pistols are great(got to love desperado) so I'm just going up the tree (trigger happy shot, desperado, gatling fever, last stand) probably just PvM for now anyways. I only seen other slingers use gatlings and they look pretty cool, I'd like to try one out, though I doubt it could ever replace a good old pistol (that desperado skill is just too sweet) as for what I plan to do, not quite sure, probably PvM, I don't think PvP is for me and while WoE looks cool, I don't know if would fit into my schedule plus I dont exactly have the best internet connection, so that can make things tough sometimes. lets see, some other questions I have, I made some freezing and lightning spheres from the bullet dealer hanging in Izude, but they don't work in any of my guns, what are they for? Grenade launchers? Also about stats, I'd like to go Dex/Agi/and some Vit (so I don't get mobbed to death) I hear only going to 91 Dex is all the rage these days, so I should have some points to put in Vit, but what about Agi? should I take that to 99 or would 91 be just as good in that as well? Or being a fan of desperado, I saw another build that only put points in Dex/Vit/Int to make maximum use of that skill, would it be better to reset my stats and go with a build like that? and what about luck? I know it's not a good stat for pistol slingers, but since we get a +7 at our max level, I thought why not put a couple points in it just to make it an even 10, also does the luck stat affect our coin flip skill? And how can I get some better armor and/or what is some good armor for a gunslinger to have?

^^. i didn't there are other fanatics of gunslingers here haha. well i have a slinger at 90/70 and i enjoy the 185 aspd with that double attacks wahaha. well im just looking forward for the 3rd class of slingers. that would be awesome haha. ^^

I lovethe sound of slingers, since the day they got released, still it seems im not able to play archers well, but i got no issues on slingers, my tip, dont forget int, i have 2 pistoll slingers, 1 agi-dex, probably gona hybridize him whit rifle-criter, and 1 pure dex-int skill spamer, just lovly to spam triger happy, or mob whit desperado, althought this one is still low lvl so, absolute lack in agi+ lack on mid-high vit makes desperado hard to really use, but still i have fun on them, also started using 1 of them to leech-lvl whit a perma aco of a friend, agi up is awesome and lowered exp means more time farming aneater blossoms for my other chars :-P
well, have fun on your bad-ass locking chars, also if you get some weird gunny builds, like str builds or luk, or high int builds let me know, i personally will probably go for a 40-70 int build on my skill spamer
;-) if you want to make a gunslinger only party some day let me know, or we can be some less elitists and say gunslinger-priests party.

All those depend on what kind of Gunslinger you want to build:

Pistols
Rifle
Shotgun
Grenade
