Yeah I was running from a huge mob and got a massive lag spike about that time too. Died of course. Thankfully someones Priest was right next to me.

Don't think a Tracert after the fact would help much, would it? :S I need to do one at night though when I lag like hell...

Same, lagging for like 6 seconds then i'm dead cause of all the mobs on me or just disconnected.
What exactly does a tracert do after the lag is gone? nothing? since it wont time out unless you actually tracert it WHILE lagging.
Which is pretty much impossible cause you cant make a tracert in like 5 seconds.
I've died so many times now in AL3 while on HEBMS im pretty pissed to say the least.

What the hell did they do during that network maintenance?

I heard they're still doing some background maintenance on the servers up until March/F2P but don't know where they heard that.

I've been disconnecting too, but I thought it was just my school's connection.

I stand there while monsters continue to attack me, then eventually disconnect. I try to log back on and when I eventually get to the character select screen and choose, it automatically disconnects. Then when I try again it logs me in & I'm usually dead.

At this time the bulk of the ISP maintenance is done, and it was not expected to cause further problems. That said, there are enough reports, and experienced locally to continue the investigation.

If you can provide us in a ticket the exact time of the incident and what game account it was we may be able to use some of our new toys to check latency.

Of course only ticket that information as game account is sensitive data.

I think it was a little after 1pm today (-6 GMT) I had gotten disconnected in Glast Helm. I then kept on getting "cannot connect to server" errors. However my internet could load all sorts of pages online. The forums I also couldn't access. Did you have a network hiccup or did you have to find the defibrillator for the hamster or what? xD

is it time to change the isp company you guys have? with only a few chars online and yet lag is rampant. the first thing to improve woe is fix the lag, the rest can be done later.

I'm on wireless so I get lag (figured that out because...), when I'm at a friends house with a wired connection and play for a bit, it seems to play smoothly the times I have done it. I can't test how it is now of course though...

I just went to Turtle Island to help a new guildmate with the Bunny Ear Muff quest thing and the lag was pretty awful.

I didn't get a tracert on it but if it continues after I'll make sure to run one.
