If you buy a kafra item that says in its decsription that it is not longer available after a certian date does that mean it just cannot be purchased after that date or does it mean that if you have already purchased the item will it be taken off your account or not usable after that date? Thanks!

Depends if you're getting a "Rental Item" from the KP shop or not. If that is the case, it will disappear from your inventory once the expiration date for the rental is up.

So if I wanted to buy the rabbit bonnet would the item disappear today since today is the 24 or if I buy it today will I have it forever?

In the case of limited items, such as the Rabbit Bonnet, they're sold for a short time, but you will keep the item permanently. Rental items will specifically say they disappear after 7 days.
