[Nitro]

So I've been thinking now that my adventures in KVM are near complete (still need some points), what shall I be obtaining for a GX? Surely a Bloody Roar KVM weapon is in order, but what about upgrading it? Is it doomed to be +4 forever, or shall this thing actually make it to +9?

What would you do?

Are you still doing KvMs at 1am GMT Nitro? I haven't really been checking. I guess with the exp event maybe not. Anyway if you're still doing them let me know or PM me when I'm on. Though I still got lots of points to get and can only do a couple hours at a time sometimes so don't think I'll make it :| Stupid timezones.

And like you I dunno if I got a weapon if I would upgrade it past +4... until something happens that makes KvM better/easier so I can get a 2nd weapon as a fallback like I did with Flavius/Tierra. I think a +4 KvM may still be better than a +7 Flav or Tierra. But I'm mainly PvM. In WoE its probably +9 or bust.

We are still attempting to run them our usual time. It's been kind of rough though with everyone being busy. Maybe it will go today a while?

Gravity missed an opportunity to make money when they let me break my KVM Fist going +6. It happened last week so restore the weapon if you want my money.

I love upgrading equipments! I sometimes just take all my equipments in storage and overupgrade them to see what makes it, if any, to +7. Survival of the fittest.

I would say screw it, just upgrade it! All or nothing! +__+

If you would like people to be there when you upgrade, let me know and I'll come and watch. What server do you play on?

This thing for upgrading a KVM gear is completely ufair. When alot of the old players that had one before the HD event or the rich guys $$$ that spent tremendously on boxes and got a huge God-like advantage.

I would recommend something if it happens to break though:

QFT, though i know it worked more than once for the same item in past from a person i know.

But when i needed GM help to "fix" an accident, they told me if i accept that service, i am disqualified for their service if i ever need their help about mistakes (break/carding/drop/whatever) again.

After careful consideration... I think I will not attempt to upgrade over +4 unless I have a darn good backup plan (AKA KVM badges or a 2nd weapon).

Wait for an upgrading event. It was hinted that upgrading may some time return but it's disheartening when there is an entirely different NPC than before.

Seriously, I quit. Weapon broke at +5 with enriched ore. Reported TONS of bugs in KVM and lost points, and get no help at all from support.

I saw kRO implement a +9 ticket system where u buy a ticket and go to an npc, at a low chance the item will be upgraded to +9 but not sure on failure

Those been there since the day KVM was put in the game, there never gona get fixed, Overupgrading them is a draw of the luck thing and i rather not play that with something that takes weeks if not months to just get 1 weapon and as for the e. ore rates, Well I think there a lie and been nerfed to the original Elu/ORI rates before they were nerfed too.

This is why gravity did the whole HD +4 to +10 safe rate for like a month gravity was greedy for more money to not fix things thats why every one that had points went wild and gravity knew they would which is why they did it, they wanted to make money.

Gravity Motto is as followed

Make money>make money>make money off buggs things (KVM badges prime example)>make money>Fix bugs with said money but only if it not fixed it will blow up there server.

*sigh* Gotta agree with you there. Was really hoping that thread with so many suggesting an *in-game* KvM event would happen, and maybe actually fix some bugs in the process. I was halfway to a KvM weapon but but I can't afford to gamble real money on the chance to get badges and I don't blame people if they don't bother to come to KvM now they're available through boxes lol. KvM sucks (especially in GMT timezone). I wish the Lucky Box badges were tradable at least.
I wonder if that rumoured kRO change to Battlegrounds in 2011 will happen.
