This is going to be an abuse problem in WoE today, if something isn't done :-/
They should disable pets entirely until the problem can be fixed, if that's what it takes. Nobody uses pets anyway.

I use pets.
This is a client bug. It can be fixed without a maintenance.

I really hope they do soemthing, or else people are going to cause problems. If people do cause problems and make it so others do not get a castle they are not going to be happy. Just disable the pets for now or at least before woe. There is no reason why you want.

Alot more people use pets nowadays since they add to stats etc. I use a Petite for the extra ASPD.
But yeah until the bug is fixed they can't really be used anyway (well they sort of can, going purely by dialogues, but not as conveniently since the Pet Window crashes people) so might aswell disable them.
