I agree with what you are trying to say, but did you take a close look at my character in the pvp? I was left with really low hp every match and I could only escape relaunches with block. I did not use imperv in the pvp; I know you've pvp'd Thuy several times so you of all people would know how he distances himself to attack and relaunch while being out of attack range. I do not have sword dance to do a fast catch so i RELY on my block rate to get out of constant launches and have a chance to catch with cross cut.
You shouldn't be relying on block in the first place. Also, when you have crosscut, sword dance is garbage.

Yea, block really is just icing on the cake. However, CrossCut doesn't make SD useless--SD might be pure linear, but it is INSTANT, unlike CrossCut's slight windup. And plus, having both lets me CrossCut, jump-cancel, and then SD the person coming in from behind. xD

I got trapped by that same guy stacking high amount of evade, picking on lvl 50s knowing they cant match the aim to hit him. Shoutouts to Ody for making him ragequit!

I think he was just trying to emphasize on how OP crosscut is, so ridiculously overpowered that it makes SD which is a skill some already consider cheap look like a joke. The skill just simply outshines SD, but that doesn't necessarily make it useless though, it's just over doing it. Yes, it's the icing on the cake - of calamity, agony, and dead puppies.Yea, block really is just icing on the cake. I have herd it done 2 different ways.
The first is to dash up and down, but right after you start to dash you press forward. It doesn't look like a snake dash on your screen, but it will on your opponent's screen.
Some say to to use dash and the normal attack, but I don't know that way in detail.

Or any skill that makes you stop in place. The first thing you said is not what I was talking about.
Oh my bad. I thought you meant snake dashing.
I'm most likely incorrect seeing as how I've never pulled it off myself.

wave dash - just hold any directional key and then dash any other key. Other person's screen shows wavy looking dash. The first is to dash up and down, but right after you start to dash you press forward. It doesn't look like a snake dash on your screen, but it will on your opponent's screen.

It's commonly known as wave dashing. As for diagonal dash, it's basically what Maruno said. Archer classes can't dash diagonally with just a normal attack so they'd have to use other means such as Adrenaline Booster.

Rising arrow also works I don't know all the ways for them>.>Archer classes can't dash diagonally with just a normal attack so they'd have to use other means such as Adrenaline Booster.

After looking over the video a couple times, I agree. the fight was imbalanced and Block really is too OP. Its like a few seconds of God mode. Obviously I had the upper hand and in no way was I ever trying to say im better than Thuy, he freaking rocks xDI think he was just trying to emphasize on how OP crosscut is, so ridiculously overpowered that it makes SD which is a skill some already consider cheap look like a joke. Maybe ill try focusing on playing a different job.
