So, hey! New blood here! Semi-oldbie in Ragnarok Online, but new to all this "Warp Portal business". It's interesting! :3 But on to more pressing matters!

I can't use the Warp Portal payment thing! As has been the case OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN with several others, I can log in just fine, manage my accounts, all that yadda yadda... but if I try to use ANY payment function, be it the "Power-Up" button on Ragnarok Online or the "Power-Up" button on the side, either side chokes HARD when it gets to "iovation.grv". It doesn't give me a "bad connection" error or a "could not connect". No, it gives me a BIG OL' PAGE of error! Apache Tomcat/5.5.27 error! I'm sure you guys've seen a million times by now, but what the heck. I'll copy-and-paste the error code at the bottom here anyway, right under my relevant system specs an' stuff. Hopefully, we can get this sorted and I CAN BUY ME SOME KAFRA GOODIES!

Looking forward to a reply! Cheers! :3

Have you sent in a ticket to support about it?

I... what? o.o Thought never occured to me, honestly. Think I could get this fixed easier if I go THAT route instead? 'cuz this has been an ongoing thing, I notice. I've seen post after post after post about it from various users usin' various web browsers and such, but it seems like every post leads to a dead end...

EDITATION: Done submitted a ticket. It's basically a copy-paste of what I wrote here, but rather than have a big BLAH of error code, I jammed it into a 48KB PNG file. X3

Yeah, most responses from the Gm/Cm team come down to this, so that is the best hint I can give people. These parts of the forums are... Understaffed I think.

I agree that too many people seem to have this issue, if they give you a response ticket with a fix or w/e could you post that fix here? (I hope they will STICKY it so people can find it easily...:Emo_15: )

Grumph... :| Someone replied to my ticket. And they told me to try logging in from another location. That's really not the reply I was hoping for, given that I live a little out in the middle of nowhere (with my husband Eustace Bagge!). XP Next time I swing on into town, I guess I'll try that. I'm just a bit disappointed since that was like... THE FIRST IDEA I HAD, but thought maybe there was some miracle cure to this problem. Like they could beat the server with a wrench and it'd magically work. XD

Well I honestly don't think they know wtf there doing anymore. I have had the same error since the 23rd of Apr.
This is there reply to me.

"The issue with accessing our website is more than likely due to the the java script and flash not being up to date. Also try to only use Internet Explorer to access our website as well."

So yeah as you can see... After doing what they told me and nothing changes I have now lost intrest in getting this fixed and I am now looking forward to
other Developers who know and care about there Fing games.
Blade and Soul, TERA, and The Secret World - Once they release im on it.

Just so sick of this <_<.

The powerUP page is still not working. I've tried installing a new OS multiple times, using many different types of browsers, and even using different computers on a fresh OS install and nothing works. Is it really not a priority to fix the payment page problems?

Iiiiiiii'm baaaaaaaaaaaack~ BE AFRAID. BE VERY AFRAID.

So months later, I can confidently say that the WarpPortal payment/power-up page STILL ain't workin' for me! :thumb: ... D: But I think SOME kinda progress must'a happened. I don't get that WALL OF TEXT error anymore now, but instead a simple little text prompt that reads "PAYMENT ERROR!". Funny thing is I ain't made a payment yet. Ain't had the chance! D8 WOULD IF I COULD! Still want those sexy, sexy red glasses. X3

ANYWAYS! As for helpful info? Same as before. Tried all major browsers on the same computer with no hardware changes, same ISP, same EVERYTHING. But ever-so-slightly different results. I even read this other thread and tried updatin' Java and Flash. I can proudly say I'm all up-to-date now, but not a darn thing changed. Dunno what you guys at WarpPortal are doin' different than [insert rival company name here], but it just ain't workin' fer everyone. Maybe you should consider doin' somethin' different? D;

Cheers!

No further information to add aside from the fact it's still very much not working for me OR anyone else in the household. (Someone recently bought Ragnarok DS but can't redeem that neat lil' card for free gear since ya have ta go POWER UP ta do it!) I may have ta finally try this from another connection altogether... which is a big inconvenience for me, lemme just say. ):< Oh well... At least it's optional! I can live without my sexy Red Glasses and I'm nowhere NEAR 3rd Job Class yet, but could buy a Reset Stone regardless. X3

I recommend 'turning the spybot S&D ad-on off under IE, and enabling/installing latest version of java', and 'manually removing folder named "{CAFEEFAC-0016-0000-0029-ABCDEFFEDCBA}" under the extensions folder, of Firefox, as described here:http://kb.mozillazine.org/Java#Multiple_Java_Console_extensions, ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOADED/INSTALLED THE LATEST JAVA.

And if anything else, contact support. Worked for me

most of the time it is issues of not having Java installed/update/blocked.

Or trying to use a known fradulent IP/computer that is auto refused to avoid further damage. And then some other times it is a temporary issue we fix.

And rarely there is that computer set up that defies all attempts at resolution to normal meens. Sometimes it is a weird character in the account name or something or some other invisible DB factor that makes the system not like that WP account.
In those cases contacting us via the tickets is the best solution so we can attempt the same.
