Hi all, Thanks for reviewing my thread. Like two years ago, My step brother had introduced me into Ragnarok and I loved the game I had always played for days and night just lurking around talking to people and killing monsters and selling stuff as a merchant. So then I had moved away and moved to my mothers house and had got a new computer for my self witch was a Mac and I always tried to play on Mac OS but I never could of dual boot or run the game. And so now I got a windows laptop its great only 256MB ram and the game runs really good. I just finished playing for a little and got my account set up now I don't know what to do.

Anyone can give me some information on where I could go or what should I do and make my interests in the game even more bigger?

I just became a Merchant now what should I do? Where should I go? What should I join or do? I am completely clueless. and in the game i never see other people playing where is everyone in the game usually?? any mini games?

Thanks, Greg A.k.A ReMiXeDg

What server are you on? Anyway Prontera is the most popular hangout area. Then a few other towns also have some more throughfare. Alberta's always been pretty quiet except if a guild chooses it as a hangout or when people are travelling to the themed dock towns (Amatsu, Ayothoya, Kunlun, Louyang etc.). You could check out the Guild or Party sections of the forums here and also on iROWiki to hook up with people. Or use the Party search system in-game:
http://irowiki.org/w...y#Search_System

http://forums.warppo.../14-guild-hall/
http://forums.warppo...party-requests/

http://forums.irowiki.org/

If you're on a "VIP" status you can use the Kafra to get to Prontera. Or if you're "non-VIP" status you can take the big ship to Izlude then exit left and walk north to Prontera (if you're on Valkyrie be careful of the people summoning monsters for fun outside South Prontera entrance).

But you can also find easy to kill monsters by exiting out left of Alberta and beating up the Fabre, Poring etc.

When you're Base 12 then make sure to check out Edens for some gear etc.:
http://irowiki.org/wiki/Eden_Group

There are some mini-games but they're not popular. Stuff like Izlude Battle Arena, Aldebaran Turbo Track, Kunlun Monster Arena, Hugel Races, Hugel Bingo, Poring War etc. But there are a lot of quests:
http://irowiki.org/wiki/Quests

There's also various events that come and go which are announced on the Patch Notes, main website or forums. You can see what some of the past events have been here:
http://irowiki.org/w...ests_.26_Guides

And if you're on Ymir occassionally there's a Hide & Seek event ran by a player (with Staff backing).

Check out the New Player section too:

Well I'm assuming you're at Alberta since you just changed to a Merchant so your minimap should look similar to the map on this page:
http://irowiki.org/wiki/Alberta

The area to the right is the dock/port. The various piers up the right side have NPCs that take people to the distant foreign towns of Amatsu etc. But you want the big brown ship. Outside which should be an NPC which offers to take you by boat across to Izlude for a fee. Then take the left red dot out of Izlude and then head to the North dot for Prontera. iROWiki page for Alberta says he's Fisk (189,151). You can do /where ingame to find your current coordinates.

Or top-left you can exit out of the town onto an easy field map of monsters to kill.

Simple reintroduction, for crazy smashing of mega high speed cart ram and dealing thousands per second, go mechanic, for cray cannoning and woe cannot-do-without, go genetic
