Another scenario is that u bid on an item but later u bought the same item at a lower price , theres no way get back ur lant that u have bidded , u have to wait for someone else bid higher or seller cancel or auction period end which u get the item but u prob dun need an extra one.
lastly though rare are the times u might have accidentally bid on the wrong item esp u bid a lot of stuffs on the same page, not really a concern except that u bid an item that is way overprice(high starting bid) by some idiot and theres no way to cancel it!

The problem is simple, an item could be about to end its period in the auctioner and someone bid higher but then cancel, and the bid would back to the start price, since the other people's lant alredy would go back to them. Then the person would bid again at a much lower price and the item would be sold for nothing.
Even if all people's lant stay in the bid unitl the time expire, someone could bid 50k lant for a carus item, and then someone could bid 10kk and cancel at the last moment and go back to 50k lant and then bid 80k, for example.
The only way in wich all this could work, is if someone cancel the bid, then the time limit for the auction extend automatically to 3 more days. That way it couldnt be abused.

That would be great if there wasnt people that would abuse of it. Sadly, many good things cant be implemented because people would abuse of them.

Well u have a point there, but since AH is used by a lot of ppl most would bid more if they felt the item is worth more than the current bid before it ends. Theres a lot of bargain hunters out there lol and they wont hesitate to bid more than u. Therefore its not easy to get away with under biding at least most of the time.
