because if sprite change, i play with another job.
I think you have been mislead. The sprite change will only be a new option or choice. It will NOT be required for every Rune Knight. If you like the current Rune Knight character sprite then you can continue to keep the sprite you have. ^_^

Idk where you get this idea but I think kRO only have the new RK sprite and I don't think iRO's GM is capable enough to give RK an option to choose sprite.

Well if kRO gave an option it'd be likely that iRO could too, unless for culture reasons iRO decides to implement something differently based on player feedback. kRO is the one who provided iRO with their base code (and probably still own full rights to the code) and do the major modifications. Which is why iRO has to ask KRO for major changes to gameplay/mechanics.
However according to this thread some say kRO gave no option and some other servers that have gotten it since like mRO got no option.

Odd though since the new Rune Knight sprite also came at the same time as the new Costume System which allows for further changes to sprites of all classes (another cash shop thing I think). So you'd think they'd take advantage of that to allow people an option.
http://ro.doddlercon.com/home/?p=7Rune Knight Sprite Update: The new sprite for Rune Knight characters will be available to players immediately after patching when they return from the conference. For the next month, Rune Knight characters will also be able to dye their clothing for free.
Costume System: The costume system is a set of headgears that can be made visible on your character without losing the functionality of your currently equipped headgear.
2D Layer System: Allows equipment other than headgear to appear on your character sprite. With this update, specific garment type equipment will be visible on your character sprite.

Both kRO and jRO has these sprites avaliable in their kafra shop.

So is it optional via Kafra Shop then? Thats what I thought but that old thread above seems to suggest kRO etc. maybe didn't get a choice. And that mRO didn't.

Even more likely a Kafra shop item, because it means more revenue for Gravity.
Unfortunately gaming still very male dominated, and teenage boys love looking at half-naked Anime girls. Honestly I think this is something the greater gaming community/ industry needs to change if they want to be considered more of a legitimate media format (like books, movies, and TV) and less of a Child's play thing. Honestly Characters like Ivy from Soul Caliber, Mai from King of Fighters, Felicia and Morgain from Capcom's Dark Stalkers and the whole Dead or Alive line isn't doing any one any favors. More Positive female characters would include Alyx Vance (Half-Life), Samus Iran (Metroid) except that Zero Suit business, The Boss (Metal gear Solid 3) and Jade (Beyond Good and Evil). Why females in RO have almost no clothes?
