Hello, I'm a Tempest lvl 65, just resetted skills and was testing the Magic Weapon Mastery Skill (passive) and to my surprise it did nothing at all, either at the damage table and either hitting mobs, also I tried barehanded, with a staff with a wand and with knuckles and I found no difference at all, made a lot of tests during almost 2 hours and there was no difference. I did it without equipment (only with weapons) and with the skill at lvl 6 wich it was supposed to give me +62 extra dmg... I kept doing the normal magic damage of the weapon... do you know if it's a bug? Can't find other explanation, thanks in advance =)

Also, are knuckles magic weapons?

Knuckles are not magic, they're physical.

Which skill were you using to test with? I know you're testing Magic Weapon Mastery, but you don't mention if you're using Electric Bolt or what. If you're just hitting the mob with your wand or staff, that's physical damage as well.

Knuckles have magic dmg on them as well so those work to test they just arent really needed. Claws are the ones with no magic atk & those are rogue only.

Hmmm...hadn't realized. But still, they would be dependant on a skill being used, right? If they're just being used to attack (AA) than the damage would be calculated on their physical damage rate.

Of course I didn't do AA that's nonsense, I tested with Elec Bolt L1 all the time... I'm keeping those skills down until support responds if it is a bug...

:) lol...it's just that you didn't mention which skill...and I kinda got side-tracked by the knuckles, cause I never really paid attention to them before. Any response from Support? Please god not the "working as intended" crap...

I was told a long time ago that it is bugged... or it only applied to the physical dmg of the weapon. Either way, I only put 1 pt in it since I like having skill pts for everything else.

Like so...

I tested it the other day and worked fine.

(Tested with no weapon so fixed dmg, added skill points to mastery and used nukes/aoes).
