Really quick thought, ive noticed exp from the medusa turn-in's at least for job exp is kinda -_-ty, so if i may ask~ mind looking into the exp values from the turn in's? meh maybe its just me but thought id note it before maintenance occurred.

Before maintenance occurs:

Please do NOT increase spawn and increase exp rewards. That just makes one shotting parties solo while dragging 10 more characters around easier.

Instead, could you experiment with a new setup, like:

Increase 4x difficulty (HP, defense, attack,higher hit/flee, etc), but 5x the reward?

No matter how much you increase spawn in renewal monsters, because they are non threatening and die to one or two uses of a mobbing skill. But if you made monsters have enough HP so they had to take several attacks from different skills, maybe many killers would be needed. And then, if you made monsters attack harder, maybe support would be needed. And if killing took more than half second before moving to the next mob, maybe some pulling or some tanking or some organization would be needed. And I dun know, maybe the event could be fun. Overall, the higher reward would make up for the increased difficulty/time it takes to kill each monster.


Indirectly, it would also solve the problem with gwing KSing, because you wouldn't be able to just land, one shot and flee before being seen. You would have to stay KSing deliberately for several seconds.

Also it would make it harder and less rewarding to solo instead of partying. Because currently: why would you party if you are a killer that can already one shot mobs in a map supercrowded with monsters? If killers couldn't oneshot, but do well in parties, and support couldn't kill but support and survive well... maybe partying could be fun and rewarding.

i actually agree with that =D

I definitely do, i believe that gwing KSing is getting quite annoying especially from the few parties i have been in where all of a sudden our man drags a mob in to just have that party tele right on it and kill it for their own. however i do also know that with more HP comes another issue where SP becomes to be the problem for AB's and such because well, scholar class cant give SP really thanks to that nerf that gives only half SP of the giver.

I don't agree. It will make it unnecessarily hard for those of us who like to solo.

I should not be forced to look for a party if I want to do these events, especially if I'm playing a character who has no place in a party to begin with (of which there are many)

These events I happened to get lucky because I was leveling a scholar, so of course people wanted to party with me for the free SP.

Can we have multiple ratios of Base XP and Job XP, like 50/50, 70/30, 30/70, 100/0 and 0/100?

sure. would love to solo leech more of my chars, introducing a little more hp/def really wont matter. ab's? dont need any ab's...

Naaaah.. Changes like this will make a dramatic result on players.

Everyone will be like WTFFFFFFFF!!!

New players are not paying attention on their skills till they're 3rd job. Plus what im gonna do on 10 boxes of Gwings on my storage now?

Very few skills requires a full bar of sp. Just means the scholar/sorc has to work a little harder and maybe get some gypsy kiss.

gwing makes it soo easy to fetch a botted alt (the bot doesnt attack, it just respawns on 200 and talk to npc to turn in and re-quest). its safe too, since it looks just like a char on auto follow..

The more higher u go the lest exp it get......so far im getting 2.6 % per Turn (with out Vip.....) almost feel like im doing lolis Turn in to 99. back b4 renewal..

maybe a fix 5% per Turn for over 105+?

so where exactly is the problem of suing the 1 mobbing skill 3-4 times then to kill the mobs ?
would be totaly worth the 5 times exp and won't change anything

My idea would be to see monsters with High attack you actually have to fight, not appear infront and attack before they start moving. And because they aren't mobby, you can't do something like sit there reflect killing, because they hurt more than how much you can autoheal.

Take a look at renewal: you have several AoE oneshotting skills, some of those which don't require a weapon and thus you can maintain solo healing without supplies, like fire trap, dragon breath, reflect...

There is a limit on how effective this methods can be: you need a mobby map, with monsters which don't hurt much... but if you didn't have easy targets where to leech HP/SP from, and you couldn't mass kill them, you would start to have to use supplies, start to use gear, and little by little, gathering in a party starts to be better than soloing.

When anyone can oneshot, more members doesn't make things faster. But when the targets need more people to be killed fast, more members is indeed better.
