i cant really give you suggestions for hunters though but, i do know that DS is good till lvl 99

With around 90 dex and 50 int you can oneshot landmine hillwinds once you are in range. That was the fastest and cheapest way to 99 for me. You can DS until that point but if you DS instead of landmine at that point it is way slower since you need several DS, arrows, bow and more sp per kill. If you are falling short of oneshotting then add some more dex but the rest can go into agi. You can wear fortune sword to help dodge, moonie dagger for sp or quad malicious to restore hp but really none of them are essential.

A kafra happy wig or peco band makes easier, allowing you to walk fast. Bring some fwings and fresh fish.

As archer you can max every skill, leaving arrow shower at 9 - can max it too later with a hunter point if you want.
